We were treated so well we felt like part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great conversations with the Landlord and all off the Staff. The food we had was well prepared and nicely presented. Our room was clean and tidy with sufficient storage space. We will definitely go back and take friends along. Well done Bob and Pauline and thank you.
The staff were friendly and obliging and the food excellent. I liked the quiet location.,the ease of parking and the relaxed atmosphere.The room was of a generous size and comfortable and I was provided with a bath as requested.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room size very good and view from room of orchard and fields just what we wanted. Lovely and tranquil. Evening meal very good for price and choice.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with an alternative early breakfast packed meal to cater for our very early start the following day.

The owners were pleasant and helpful. They voluntarily removed the cost of a meal from our bill because the steak was tough. The location was convenient for us.

The bathroom needs some attention behind the shower.
The bedroom and bathroom decor was very tired and needed re-decorating. The heating was provided by a portable electric heater which although effective seems a little unusual these days.
Bathroom could do with decoration/upgrading. Shower not very fast, BUT it was still a great place to stay.
Decor was a tad tired and dated.
Accomodation walls are a little thin, but being a converted stableblock I'm sure not alot can be done about that.

Squeeky, uncomfortable bed but friendly landlord and landlady made up for that!.
Need car It's far from anythings.
Carpets need replacing and properly fitting bathroom s cleaned properly hair in the sink dirty shower. Old furniture in walk way. A few changes would make this a great place for business travellers to stay.
en-suite toilet was smaller then a single wardrobe, no division from washing facility to bedroom, storage of units between bedroom & dining area, stairs to bedroom dangerously steep. (but in fairness to the property, it is well over a hundred years old.).
The roms and the hallways leading to them were inadequately cleaned. The carpets were dirty, the dusting was sketchy, cobwebs were everywhere. It seemed that a bare minimum had been done to ensure the beds were clean and the decor would be ok at first glance.
Dirty carpets, old decoration , old beds, poor quality bathroom, hanging off wall paper, poor quality fixings.
Bathroom in room 1 needs a lot of work. Peeling wallpaper, wobbly basin and very dated-looking.
Room was dirty, damp, smelly, poor shower,no heating in the morning, pathetic 'continental' breakfast.
