My original booking of a single room was upgraded on arrival by the receptionist due to availabiltiy....certainly value for money. The room service was great, yum thai fish cakes reminded me of my stay in thailand a few years ago..would definitely return for these..the staff seem really excited about the refurb, i guess il have to return to see for myself..... staff friendly and efficient. Location good.
所有评语 » It was convenient for where I need to be. Friendly and hmey atmosphere. It was a very comfy hotel, and service and staff were very helpful. The meals were good.the facility of room service and the food was very nice. The Hotel location was excellent for Rugby centre and the Victoria pub around the corner that holds Real Ale festivals and is run by a member of my family. I was close to where I wnated to be. Arrived at hotel car park to find it covered by snow. Only a small area had been cleared and the remaining area was very dangerous. There were major renovation works going on throughtout the hotel. I also picked this hotel because it had a restauant and also wireless connection, of which they had none, due to the works.Needed updating. Poached egg was not cooked inside, sausage was poor quality and mushrooms tinned. It was a shame that fresh produce was not used.When arriving back from are meal, at 10 pm we were told earlier on that the bar would be open, however the night porter refused to open then bar, and was very unhelpful. Unpleasant smell in corridor and room.I work as Property Services Manager for Barchester Health Care, I foundthe standard of decoration poor, dining room dampness, paper flaking offwalls ect. Lights inoperative in the room. However the staff werewelcoming and very helpfull. Yes I booked a non smoking room as all of us are asthmatics and I got given a smoking room with no option for a change. This is totaly unacceptable as since return my daughter suffered and asthma attack . So thanks for that!!!!!. room was very small and at the top of the house. Central heating pipes were unbelievably noisy all through the night. The matress was far too hard.Bathroom was clean but shabby, couldn't stand up in shower. My room was clean only twice in my 4 night stay. Not as clean as it should be for a 3 star hotel. Also it states that it has wireless around the hotel, but not in my room. The hotel was undergoing renovation and despite what it said on the website it was not able to provide breakfast and the state of the place was not really fit to be occupied. You need to get better up to date information from hotels that are having building work done. We would not have stayed if we had any choice.a bit shabby - facilities not good. Shower was broken, water leaked to the room below. Shabby interiors. Not clean. Breakfast poor - out of date cereals, out of date yoghurts, and other ingredients all low quality. I would have expected letsbookhotel.com to advise people of the situation with various renovations works. If this had been advised I would have picked an alternative.
