  from when we got there the reception area was clean and the staff very friendly and helpfull.the rooms are clean well equiped bathroom was clean had a big walk in shower,the bed was comfy and warm asked fro two extra pillows and they where there when we got back.the breakfast was brill really liked the buffet idea,wanted fried eggs not scrabbled a... 别人怎么说 » nd the kitchen did them for us no probs.all in all excellent place to stay ideal for shops and visiting a few bars.would recomend hotel and if i go ba - We have stayed at the Wool Merchant's on a number of weekend occasions now and have found it offers very good value for money. The staff are helpful, the rooms very clean and (in our case) spacious with good bathrooms. We haven't eaten in the on site Italian restaurant yet but the breakfast on offer is superb ! We are already booked in for a couple of Saturdays next year on the strength of our previous stays. All in all, great value especially at the price.

  I personally thought that the hotel was exceptional value for money and have already expressed an interest in staying there again as I may be down that way on business often. The hotel, facilities, food and staff were excellent as was the room that was allocated to myself. - The food was excellent. Good Breakfasts.
