  I loved the atmosphere and decor with all the history of the school. Theroom was very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter in stirling asshe has had a baby we hope to return - Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. restaurant food very good.

  The staff were very helpful and friendly. The building was impressive from the outside and comfortable inside. It was very close to the places I was visiting during the "Bloody Scotland" festival and also convenient for shops and pubs etc. If I'd had more time there i would have been able to visit the castle and the old jail etc very easily, as t... 别人怎么说 » hey were both close by.   The hotel was very interesting and had a real antique look about it. The bedrooms were well appointed with ;nice soaps towels etc... they even provided Sherry in the room...lovely. The bed was a kingsize madfe of 2 single beds... hence an un comfortable bit in the middle...I hate that but otherwise everything else was fab. Breakfast and service w... 别人怎么说 » as lovely.... I cant waitto go back for afternoon tea sometime... thanks - The turndown service a night was a nice surprise. We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms. Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.
