  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. The Indian Restaurant inside the Hotel was very nice and the food was - The room was perfect although was not properly vacuumed other than this excellent value and staff were very helpful. The ensuite was really good with lots of space i would have mo hesitation in recommending it to others and intend to use it next Christmas rather than booking early and getting accommodation in Bath itself

  My husband and I just had a wonderful couple of nights at Oldfields. What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.).
