  The friendliness and the fact they made you feel so welcome even in the local pub next door. I am very fussy on hygiene and I could not find fault with our accomodation.   Although Damons-Lincoln is undergoing renovation at the moment this did not impact on our stay at all. The staff made us fully aware of the situation on checking in. Although an un-renovated room it was still very comfortable and spacious with a very large comfortable bed.   The bedroom was more than big enough for the two of us. The en-suite was great and the biggest bath I have ever seen and the shower worked properly. It was easy to find being on the main road.
