  I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable.   We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots.   I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to Inverness. I will happily stay here again!

We were informed of a slight issue with the shower and were given a 65% discount to make up for it. We are very grateful! The apartment itself was perfect for what we were looking for - good value for money (even before the discount), modern and stylish interior and includes everything you would need in a holiday apartment.   We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the lovely barman, we ordered drinks and had a spot of lunch, which was a simple sandwich, just what we wanted! The room was warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and a fabulous view from the window, - My husband and I traveled here with our 3 month old son and had a wonderful stay. The island is so beautiful and we very much enjoyed being in a remote part of it. We were in the main building on the second floor, so we had a lovely view of the lakes and wifi reach our room (even though I know they like you to become "unplugged" for a bit). The fireplace in the sitting room was so nice. We sat by it for several hours one evening as our son laid on a blanket next to it...he had never seen a fire

The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!
