  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout.   Staff very helpful and friendly - allowed us to park in staff car park, when the bay parking was full. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (toaster needs turning up though to get slightly darker toast); eggs were poached to perfection. We stayed in a recently refurbished room on the first floor - extremely high standard and finish, very quite - It was just ideal for our stay, mum n I hadn't been Portsmouth in a very long time, we thought the hotel was great conveniently located in the fact that was close to the places we wanted to go. The historic dockyards n the spinnaker was fabulous n magnificent and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hotel was lovely n spacious, friendly staff willing to help n made u feel very welcomed. Close to where we wanted to go close to the ammenties and parking was great didn't need to travel far in the car

  The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. The estate was lovely, and the layout of the hotel made sense. The rooms were beautifully kept and appointed, and the place was restfully quiet at night. Amenities were enjoyed, and were well appointed and operated. We have no negative comment.
