Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise.   The accomodation was excellent I have stayed with them twice in the space of a month both visits I had different types of rooms one was a small studio flat & other was a luxury apartment both had great facilities plus the system they use for gaining enter to the buildings is by key codes so its very secure & a unique way of checking in wit... 别人怎么说 » h them. Simple way of doing there business. - I was placed in the Portland Street hotel which was conveniently positioned in the centre of Cheltenham. Accommodation was all I required - ensuite, comfy bed, tea, proper mug, biscuits (big plus!), and TV. Was also allowed to take my cycle into bedroom for my own piece of mind.

  Very well situated, easy to find. Stafff were very pleasent and helpful. The beds in the twin room were very comfortable. The Bumble Bee pub next door was very convient and excellent food. - friendly staff and on noticing my wife has walking limitations they relocated us to the ground floor.   Ibis hotel.. Everything.. I saw the reviews about this hotel.. And they are not too good.. But I tried it because my girlfriend lives 5 min away.. This hotel is excellent.. First they put me in the first room and it was too near the lobby so I called I within 5 minutes I was in another room. The breakfast is good, basic cereal, toast, croissant, c... 别人怎么说 » offee. The rooms are very modern and the shower its very modern as well. I was hungry the first night so I ordered pizza and they just called my room - The bed was amazing! And the staff were very helpful from start to finish - especially liked the new lass who was a trainee and had only been there a week! Sorry didn't get her name but her customer service was brill. But the same goes for the other front of house staff too :) The shower was spacious and powerful. The biggest bonus, as we were there on business and had early starts, was that the rooms are pretty much soundproof! Well done :)
