  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious. Depending on weather, seating was either outside on a patio or inside full glass, but both were overlooking the garden and the river. It was - The location within yards of the South West Coastal Path. Main bus route at the end of the road. Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.
