  Angela and Steve are lovely people, the rooms spotless and the breakfast perfectly cooked with enough to keep hikers going all day.   Personal service; beautifully renovated building in a quiet location. Stress-free. The breakfast is all fresh and local; no problem catering for my mother's gluten-free diet. - The rooms, the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all great! Staying there was like visiting family that has a great chef.

  We stayed at the Hare & Hounds for three nights and had a wonderful time there. We booked the standard room which although small was very cosy, well equipped and had a great en-suite ( really good size with a very powerful shower). The Hare & Hounds is in a lovely peaceful rural location, serves delicious food in it's very popular,bar/rest... 别人怎么说 » aurant (we ate there every night).and is owned and managed by Kerry and assisted by her parents and staff all of whom were always helpful, friendly an - Beautiful rooms that you wanted to spend time in. Lovely old bar that serves excellent food from a great menu. No need to use your car at all if you want peace,views, walks and good food and drink. Kerry is an excellent host - nothing's too much trouble.
