  The staff make the place - they are all excellent. Superb inclusive breakfast...best I have had in a hotel - in fact, probably the best anywhere. There is a bit of a slope walking up from town, but I'm an old guy and had no problem - just a 10 minute stroll from St. Helier centre.   Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Good location with a beautiful park across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental with a good selection and served at your table. We had enjoyable time in the hotel bar talking to Phil the owner who ensured the music was to the liking of the guests. The staff are all very good & so was the food. There was a lot of it! It was really good value for money a little dated, but I think that's what keeps the price down 10 out of 10!

Waiting Staff are in one word "Exceptional." Can't wait to return back in to G - Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

  The hotel was far better equipped than I had expected. The room was spotlessly clean, also the bathroom was excellent, with big fluffly towels! There was more than enough tea, coffee and milk in the room. The staff were a delight - friendly, pleasant and helpful. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel

  The staff at hotel Mirimar were very helpful and couldn't do more to make our holiday relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed B & B and the breakfast was excellent with good portion size and the one evening we stayed for an evening meal that was also very good.   Runnymede were extremely accommodating when confirming my booking over the phone after i had booked the room online, there had been no record of my Daughter staying too and the Irish lady (didn't manage to get her name apologies) was extremely pleasant and helpful. I personally couldn't care less if the decor isn't my cup of - the excellent standard of the food and the quantity and variety. This was served by very attentive staff. the room was clean with adequate storage for clothes and the washing facilities were good plenty of hot water. there was no noise from other guests. I would rate it higher than the 2 star rating and comparing it to the hotel my sister was staying which was a three star we would say it was much more guest friendly nothing was too much trouble if information was requested.

The service in the restura - we thought the hotel was fabulous, we were on a business trip, we loved the location my wife could walk to the shops. close to restaurants, bars. The Staff were so friendly, the breakfast staff were absolutely amazing friendly, professional and made you feel so welcome, we actually said at the time we haven't seen this service in a hotel for a while. The breakfast was excellent better than 5* hotels we have stayed in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
