We stayed there during the blizzard weather and the staff (especially reception) were super helpful and accommodating, updating us on the whole shut down situation with ferries etc. Reception even found us a lift down to the port amongst all the closed roads and madness!   The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom overlooked the sea - lovely view. Although small, the pool is an added attraction.There is a great promenade behind the hotel running along the sea-front.. - The indoor swimming pool was pleasant, and quiet.   Lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We had not checked that the bed in our room would have no foot-board (I am 6'3") but she changed it to one without quickly and without fuss. Not in walking distance from the town and there really is no restaurants (except hotels own) in waking distance. However bus 81 stops next to the hotel.
