Large, airy room. Very clean. The staff were great.God room, breakfast fine for the four days I stayed. I was taken ill with severe back pain at the hotel and the service they provided was exceptional; calling a Doctor, carrying my cases, caring for me - well beyond what could be expected.All seems quite new and there is plenty of parking. my dog was welcome. receptionist very helpful.

Bedroom was clean and comfortable - plenty parking - easy check-in and out. Good reception area, spacious and light. Convenience of location. friendly staff. Hotel itself was very clean and modern. Large comfortable room with good bed. The two staff members taht we met were friendly. Price only. ok after room was changed. Mouldy and water leaking through window surround. Ease of check in / check out, very clean and efficient. Size of room. The breakfast. The friendly desk staff were very helpful. Room was adjacent to main road. Windows would not close properly resulting in road noise being evident in room. Limited restaurant menu. The dinner was terrible, they really need someone in there to show them how to cook. Loose shower, badly fitted toilet seat, stupid place for a toilet roll holder, and more choice on breakfast (especialy for longer stay). The restaurant menu could be better. had to miss breakfast on Sunday morning as it was not until 8:00 and I had to leave by then to get to a dog show. Shower and bath needed some attention. Would have liked a bigger choice on the menu(however the food was lovely). Room service for a single female traveller would have been an advantage.Shower was only cold water; room was too hot; difficult to cool room as was noisy if window was open. I was told that I could not have poached egg but that was too difficult for the waitress to make! The hotel should invest in some staff development. there was piegon excrement on the balcony, things should be put in place so that could be avoided. Also it is still being renuvated on the outside. and it was not said on the site. It seemed to be half built, although it was well presented. A failure to put Fire Exit notice in room and very limted hotel info (no brochure/folder). Shower operating instructions would be helpful(quite complicated!)r. Cleanliness of corridor on previous visit, 15th October, Window ledges were covered in dead wasps and carpet was dirty along entirety of the corridor.Breakfast poor. No lunchtime food. No atmosphere. Not much atmosphere as it was pretty empty, but it was Xmas.unwelcoming exterior from road,. The paved area surrounding the hotel has sunk in a number of places and could contribute to trips and fall injury. This is a new construction and it does not create a very good image and does not match the quality inside. Hotel was let down by it's staff unfortunately. Breakfast was poor, all the cutlery, plates, glasses etc were either dirty or chipped. No hairdryer in room. Lack of staff. poor service at breakfast.Exterior was not complete - car park and entrance still under construction. Had to wait approx 15 minutes for someone to come to reception to book me in. The breakfast was poor.over rated by far. It said breakfast included, when I got there, found out is was basically a bowl of cereal and if you wanted a cooked breakfast you had to pay a further £9.95. Not good!!!!!. A sterile environment with no atmosphere. The hotel is very poorly specified, with many faults that are far too numerous to list. The workmanship of the building and maintenance are very shoddy. Breakfast was basic.Food and service was rubbish. The exterior of the hotel looked unfinished. The bathroom in my daughter's room was dirty and the hospitality cups were not clean. Loud music from the kitchen woke my husband and myself at 6am. We were not happy.Room was not cleaned until I reported on my return at 18:00. It was still a building site and the doors and windows on the room would not close. Rooms where too hot, there was a constant humming which may be due to the hotel still being built. there was building work going on and when i arrived it looked like the hotel was closed for refurbishment but on working my way through dodgy scaffolding i found it was open. The standards of the rooms were extremely low. Ripped bed sheets, faultywindows and cupboards falling off thier hinges. The welcome was atrocious, the restaurant overpriced, the food was poor. The room -bare, poorly furnished, the place looks as though it was by John Wayne. There was no hot water for a morning shower and breakfast was appalling.The room was not very clean and things were found around the room that were rather sickening and made my stay quite unpleasant. The rooms were dirty and the bed linen had other peoples hair in it inboth our rooms. There was a lot of disturbance on my first night and I had no sleep. My room was not tended to and bed was not made etc. When I spoke to a gentleman at Reception, he was not dressed appropriately - open neck shirt and track suit top.
