The staff were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable with a great view across the very attractive harbour. The hotel was close to restaurants. There was onstreet parking available outside the hotel. It was in a good position for visiting the Giant's Causeway etc if you have a car and there is lots to see and do around the area. The breakfast was good. The beds are so comfortable. Lovely tasty breakfast and very good table service. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Staff are nice and friendly. It was also very relaxing and i had a room with a great view of the sea. Also they have a lift in the building which is a bonus as i didn't need to pull my suitcase up a flight of stairs. Excellent B&B.
所有评语 » Location was fantastic--room had a lovely view of the water. The room was comfortable, good food, and great staff. And the price was very reasonable. It was also nice that they accepted Euros as well as Sterling. Walking distance to Portrush restaurants but still quiet & relaxing. the relaxed vibe of the avarest and friendly staff is what brings us back to stay at least once every year.the family room is excellent,loads of space for our three wee rascals and the views from the room overlooking the sea are breathtaking.our favourite place to stay-ever. great breakfast,not buffet cooked individually partner ordered an omellete which was delicious,location was perfect in the heart of portrush,view amazing as we were at the top of the band b,staff very helpful lady owner on checking inn and male waiter at breakfast. Everything lovely town, lovely beach and lovely b&b with oustanding staff. Only restorants bit disopointly cause they was very busy hard to get table :) greetings from Lithuania. The landlady was extremely pleasant, as were all the staff. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Great value for money. Great location in centre of Portrush. On arrival we were given a suite room which was excellent. It was very spacious and had a lovely view over the beach. The breakfast was also lovely and staff very friendly. have stayed there before, staff friendly, clean, comfortable,food good, great view overlooking beach from our window close to beach for surfing, shops, and entertainment. Avarest House is very convenient to the town centre and beach walks. Nearby free car parking if driving and close access to public transport if not driving. Close to Giant's Causeway Close to Bushmill's Close to restaurants Free street parking Only place we stayed at in Ireland that had a fridge in the room!!. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast selection great. Hope to go back next year. The view was beautiful. We also had some of the best Irish food in town at the Harbour Bar. We appreciated their accepting Euros as well as pounds. The decor. The little unexpected extras in the room-toiletries hot chocolate sachets!, comfortable beds and yummy breakfast. Great location too. Very difficult to find in a maze of streets. A better set of instructions or a map should be sent to registrants. Room is not expansive. Nothing whatsoever!. En-suite a little bit cramped. Roman blind in room was broken. Poached egg was a bit hard. The only thing I can find to dislike is the fact there was a fan or something on going outside which I found annoying during the night/morning. Other than that not one thing. Parking can be difficult Cash only checkout. Parking only available on street. Cash settlement required!!. Not much.. It is an older property but very comfortable. Nothing. Room could have been bigger and faced the beach but not a criticism peak season.
