Only met receptionist and breakfast waitress and waiter, all who were pleasant and willing to help. The Hotel is ideally situated with a very nice view of Oban Bay and only minutes from the centre of the town. Hotel furnishings are a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. My friend and went for 2 nights we enjoyed going for a sin each morning after breakfast,we ate out both nights and enjoyed spening money and going for long walks,we are looking forward to visinting this Hotel again next year,all staff so friendly.
所有评语 » I liked the attitude of the staff and the position of the hotel ie nice sea view,just on the edge of town so A nice easy walk into the town along the sea front but without the noise..yes I would stay at the lancaster again. I liked the friendly staff especially the young boy who worked so hard between the dining room and the bedrooms - it was a nice laid back atmosphere - guests were also very friendly - good for chatting over a drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was excellent and you could order exactly what you wanted. Swimming pool etc was basic but was great for a swim and relaxing in the steam room etc. Lots of charm, clean and comfortable room, well located, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, pool/sauna/spa area all worked well and a good place to meet some locals as it is used by the towns people. The location was great,view was excellent and peaceful,Staff was excellent and the leisure facilities were bliss. Breakfast was very enjoyable. A superb time which will hopefully be repeated soon :). OK so it was a wee bit tired, but we enjoyed our 3 night B&B break. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. A fantastic view from our room, we will book this hotel again. The staff were SUPER friendly and efficient. Others will comment on the furnishings being a bit tired and they are, BUT we found them comfortable and homely. WONDERFUL views ,particularly of spectacular sunset and moon on the bay. all the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. the added bonus of a pool added to the weekend stay. Other than the décor was a touch tired in places, there was nothing not to like about the hotel. there wasn't anything that we disliked. room (9) did not have a nice view. Glad to hear that planned refurbishment is about to start. That will bring a big improvement. I suppose the rooms could benefit from a bit of a refurbish but it was very clean. The room was a bit cold. We used electric heaters, but I guess no central heating in late April. Swimming pool was a bit on the small side, sauna was a disappointment & the decor was stuck somewhere between the 1930-1960'S. this hotel is A bit dated and well worn but its good value for money not A problemfor me. Place was tired, run-down and not very accessible for disabled. Could do with total refurbishment, but price reflected this and staff helped to make up for it. There wasn't anything. Coming away!. Rather tired room,but good value all the same. Having to go home. Décor needing updating. Nothing is a bit dated but great for budget conscious traveller. Could have been a bit warmer. Maybe need to turn the heating up a couple of degrees. Nothing in particular. Just needs some refurbishment but clean. the hotel is not quiet at night,. Room tired but clean, so can't complain. No shower in our bathroom. beds were too wee but I'm 6ft 4. Evrything is a bit sub standard, but it comes with the price, given the location. Nothing. Window very hard to open No shower fitting on bath. Dogs on the seats in the sun room. A little shabby and dated.
