The hotel is only 20min drive from Cambridge, and although we worried about the car park, it is right in front of the hotel and very easy to access. Because we arrived on Sat after 4pm, we did not have to pay either. The hotel is very clean and offers a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. We are happy that we did not stay in Cambridge- we probably paid more for a hotel with less amenities!.
所有评语 » Staff were very helpful - especially Simone on Reception. All staff were friendly and welcoming - including chamber maids and staff in the restaurant. Good value and lovely breakfast. Easy for a family with the restaurant on site. I wish all Premier Inns were like this the hotel was clean well furnished food very good but most importantly the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, a credit to the Hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. 1.The closeness to the town centre. 2.The room was very good value for money, it felt much more up market than the money we paid. 3. Had a very good nights sleep, the room/hotel was very quiet. The staff were excellent, and locality for the races was perfect. Food was great and the bar was kept open for us, so all in all an unexpectedly good stay. Clean comfortable and functional. Also surprisingly quiet given town centre location. Very good quality food in the attached restraunt. Staff in in ALL sections of hotel were so friendly and helpful. Food was enjoyable. Not our first visit and we will be back. The communication from the staff in advanced was better than I've ever had. Very informative and helpful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The position of the hotel. Easily found. The fact that everything was so new and spotless. Hotel staff was very helpful, the hotel clean, and its located just mints from Tattersall. everything was OK nothing stands out, could have a bigger menu selection. Overall we were quite happy, very clean, friendly staff, comfy bed. Clean comfortable rooms and excellent food in the restaurant. Helpfulness of staff. Excellent breakfast. Very very clean. The room was very clean and beds all made up on arrival. New facilities , clean ,comfortable & convenient. Convenient for wedding reception, near town center. A location in the middle of a roundabout!!. quiet, good functional room with decent sized bed. it was a big room and had a good nights sleep. close to town centre.rooms comfortable. Usual Premier Inn room standard. clean, good internet. Comfy bed. My kids were a bit disappointed that TV reception was not great and they did not get their favorite channel.. but adults did not mind!. No onsite parking although close. Very little to dislike, perhaps a few local ales wouldn't go amiss. could have had more tea and coffee including milk and sugar than what was provided (we had to go out and purchase milk and sugar). nothing. Unfortunatly there was music playing from very early in the morning which did impact on our sleep. Wasnt there long enough!!. If I had to think of something, it would be having to leave the car in a public car park across the road. However, I was assured by the receptionist that they had never experienced a problem and we would be quite happy with the arrangement on any future visit. Lack of hotel parking,and difficulty in finding the entrance. On Saturday night we could not sleep due to the very loud music from a local bar. Reception staff were aware of this. Bit noisy as on bust road. Parking was very confusing. Only local pay and display. No premier inn parking. The view on to the back of other shops. Breakfast was a disaster. Took over an hour. No clean bowls for quarter hour, orange juice ran out, when it arrived glasses all gone. Coffee took ages to refill and then it was just warm. Lots of people just waiting around to get breakfast. No car parking on site. everything was good nothing not to like. Car parking- lack of. car parking facilitys absoulutely useless.newmarket does not have A long stay car park. it needs one urgently for tourism. £3 per night for wi-fi. Staff at check in were not very friendly and actually quite demeaning. I did not count on having to buy my own shampoo and soap. The internet did not work the 1st day. No Parking had to worry about car in a public carpark all night and then had to get upat x am to put another ticket in the car. No record of our booking when arriving late friday night even though I had been wrong to confirm the reservation. 20 mins anxiously waiting as hotel full! Parking. Unfortunately not in a great position. Was quite expensive when we booked, but possibly our own fault in missing any offers. Absolutely nowhere to park, its on an island surrounded by traffic, not for families with small kids. Staff training lacking. no side plates for toast. Not being able to charge food or drinks to the room. No parking facilities with the hotel. The parking is terrible. There is only 4 parking spaces for the entire hotel. So I was told I had to park in the multistory car park over ther road and pay for the parking. I feel I should of been told this in a email or when I booked to save me driving around and around wondering how the hell to park. Having to pay for wi fi. I booked a room for my disabled companion, arrived to discover no parking for drop off. Quite a distance to arrive at the access for her.....steep steps access for me! KIndness only allowed me to park in front of gates overnight. Avoid if you have problems with steps or have a passenger who struggles. People talking quite loudly on their mobiles whilst having breakfast was disturbing. Needs a quiet zone! Bit slow preparing breakfast and prefer buffet style. when we arrived there was a lady on the desk and she didnt seem very happy..and then later on in the evening i asked if they could give my husband a key and they said "your husband. Alright!?" assuming i was lying. i wasnt. i am married been married for nearly a year so that made me angry. and then to get home check my facebook and a boy had e-mailed me on facebook (that works in newmarket premier inn) asking who my friend was. Damn Rude!. lack of parking, some staff not "engaged". lacks charm. Restaurant ordinary. Requested a quiet room, was on first floor and suffered the traffic noise. Car parking arrangements. Having booked the hotel on the internet for a price of £580 for 4 rooms for 2 nights, it is a disgrace that i had to pay £740 on arrival.
