  The B&B was very clean and quiet. The water feature outside my room was switched off at night so it didn't disturb my sleep and I could sleep with the window open. The taste is really good. Location is also great. It's less than 10 minutes walk to bus / train station. - The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

  This is an add-on to the Beachcliff Hotel and checkin was there. So there were no staff on duty. Entry was by code to the Guest Lodge. The staff did not mind that we used the sitting areas in the main hotel. Not sure if this is a good or bad point. Room was small but very clean. After the long train or bus ride you just need to walk 50 meters to get warm welcome. The interior - I was in penzance for a funeral and I was booked for sun mon tuesday nights.we slept there sunday night and did not get up for breakfast just went to the grave yard when we got a call and we had to drive to london at about 5pm so when we checked out I asked if I could get any refund and the manager gave me one nights cost back which I reckon was pretty good of him as I had payed in cash when I got there so I was pleased with that and I will go back next year in the summer as the resort looked

  The staff is friendly and very proud of their jobs which is the best thing for the hotel. No wonder it is in such a good condition. You should be really proud of this! The hostel used to be a castle, so except for the truth that I have to share with others, I feel very good. As long as convenient transportation is not your goal, choose this hostel a - Paul, the person who was on reception and looking after the place was extremely friendly. He even gave us a car tour guide that he had of the local area of Cornwall to take with us while we were driving around sightseeing which included some sights that most tourists don't get to see. The food was great and good value for money. the facilities were all very clean and we were made to feel so welcome and at home.

Arriving early afternoon to drop our luggage off we had a chat with the very charming and friendly owner (male), he suggested we may want to get the afternoon ferry on that day (it had been delayed so was leaving at 2.30) as we would get to Scilly earlier.
