On our outgoing night we had a very poor nights sleep due to noisy neighbours but the staff were very sympathetic and refunded the cost of our stay. Incoming we had an excellent nights sleep and lovely breakfast, again the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you all. Staff so friendly especially Bobby on reception who couldn't have been more helpful, fantastic location from metro and for the airport. Clean, comfortable and got a great nights sleep - perfect.

Had no issues with checking in. Room allocated was appropriate and meal in restaurant was very nice. Great hotel, excellent if you need to be at Newcastle Airport early as its a five minute walk to the main door. Room was clean and tidy. Location, ease of access to car park ,hotel entrance and rooms. Quick checkin. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. cleanliness friendly staff good quiet nights sleep in a great bed. coffee and tea at reception for customers very nice touch. This was our first visit and was very impressed with the staff and how clean and comfortable it was will definately be back. We were advised we wouldnt need to book a table in restaurant and just book on arrival. We had a big gathering planned as it was our last night of our trip home from New Zealand and we all had to squash in the bar as the restaurant was fully booked. Food came out at random times and so we were all eating at different times too. Had a drink in the bar before going to the city centre but the lager was a bit flat. Only 30 minutes free Wi-Fi!. just the reception staff great reception area a bit drab. seemd to be the only location in the newcastle area not included in the bank holiday offer. Booked family room (which stated suit 2adults and 2children) for 2 adults and toddler, but only bedding on double bed and 2 sets of towels. First time we stayed in winter and we found the heating very inadequate. Would only recommend staying in warm weather,. Not that near to the city centre, better for the customers who want to go to the airport in the morning. Nothing. We were put in a disabled access room which we found quite awkward. My husband suffers with Parkinsons but is not disabled but found it almost impossible to get out of the low bed which was quite uncomfortable.. Also the lack of long hanging space was a nuisance as I had wedding.outfits to hang up. Needs signposting from airport as it is hidden and quite hard to find. Wireless not included in the price. Access to airport was not signed and snow had not been cleared on the path to the airport. According to the letsbookhotel.com website breakfast starts at 03-00 but it starts at 0630 Not much use when you have to leave at 0545. nothing. The letsbookhotel.com website only seems to offer a room with disabled facilities at this hotel which I do not need. Room pricey and food also. Restaurant prices. unable to empty bath and sink due to plugs jamming solid in plugholes. Problems with setting the wanted temparature in ther room. No hairdryer. no phone in room. Room was far too hot - not possible to open windows due to the possibility of people jumping out. I would suggest windows that fully open and getting possible jumpers to sign a disclaimer! Then the rest of us could sleep well. unable to walk direct to airport terminal without using busy road. Nothing. Nothing. Didn't serve food until 6pm, we were staying over as we were at a wedding reception, had to eat elsewhere. The selection for breakfast was limited. When leaving the car park, I was not offered the code for the exit barrier which meant I had to return to reception and ask for the code on each occasion. No phones in the rooms. The construction of the building allowed for noise transfer, you could hear the foot steps of persons in the hallway and in the rooms above. Noise from upstairs bedroom unbearable (jumping and walking). Dreadful sleep. The charged extra for a lot of things that are usually included--- toiletries, wi-fi (after the first 30 mins), breakfast.... The ultimate insult was a card left by the bed encouraging you to call them if you had any problems----but they charged for the call. Room was too hot and window useless for cooling. Bathroom fan was very noisy and insisted on staying on for about 15 mins after the person using the room had left. Corridor and room a little chilly. The spare beds in the room were very uncomfortable the springs dig into every part of your body. couldnt control the temp of the room as batterys were flat it room stat trying to sleep when the room was 26 degrees is impossible would not stop again.
