A gem of a place run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful four poster room with sea view. The house is very well kept and well proportioned so you're not disturbed by the noise of other guests. Fantastic location overlooking the beach and with lovely grounds. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant the owners supply a list of local restaurants, complete with map, and there are several within short walking dista.
所有评语 » This place was perfect! The beds were delightfully soft, the pillows fluffy, the bathroom sunny and roomy. The breakfast was delicious. The garden was wonderful and the path to the beach couldn't be better. The staff were excellent as well, the lady there gave us a tip to go to the Nairn Caeligh the evening we stayed there. We ended up winning a bottle of sherry and were out danced by 80 year old women. This hotel was a splurge for us and I wish we could have spent our entire trip there, it was. The hotel was immaculate. Room was large, with high ceilings and period charm. Everything was very clean in the room. The owners are very kind and provided us with any information we needed. We were given a list and map of local restaurants. The breakfast was in a lovely room over-looking the sea and was very good. We would go back here again. Fantastic location, walking distance to everywhere. Wonderful room with views of the sea. Where else could you see dolphins whilst having breakfast! Great hosts, very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Just the place to relax and unwind. Definitely recommended. The couple who own the hotel, and the staff were really very good and helpfull, We were attending my daughters wedding and stayed for 2 nights. We were able to check-in early, and we also got a lovbely sea-view room which I requested. Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentifull. Fantanstic place owned and run by a lovely and thoughtful couple where nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure guests had a great stay and knew what to do and where to go. Lovely surroundings with private path to the beach. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly, caring, and full of local information. The location was perfect, peaceful and quiet, and access to the beach promenade was a delightful path through the garden. We certainly intend to go back. It was very relaxed. We felt welcome and comfortable as we're our two small dogs. Cannot praise Kay and her husband highly enough. Very very clean. Above average breakfast with such a huge choice. Brilliant . Welcoming place on the shore at Nairn. The room was small but well-appointed, and the owners welcoming and helpful. Pity it has been deemed 3 stars as a guest house; it deserves much more. Large comfortable clean room and although the taxi driver from Inverness had trouble finding it, we found it in walking distance to the High street and the beach. Excellent, airy rooms, well stocked with the essentials. Friendly staff. Amazing buffet style breakfast. Only stayed for one night, but would make an excellent base for exploring the north east. Kind and friendly staff who were willing to provide sandwiches when my mother was too tired to go out, and tea for her in the evening. Lovely bright dining room. Wonderful position by the sea. The hotel was lovely. I would suggest you have a gps or very specific directions to the place. It had beautiful views of the sea. Very close to Castle Stuart Golf club where we played. Spacious,clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts. A wonderfully quiet location by the Moray Firth with a large indoor pool within 400 metres. We had a gorgeous sea view room with four poster bed. The room was stunning and big. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating leaving our keys for us as we arrived late. Superb place to stay. Kay and Doug very friendly ,and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and lovely sea views often with Dolphins. We will certainly return. It's a gem. Lovely room overlooking garden and sea view! Wifi was weak in rooms, but as they have beautiful common rooms where the signal is strong, (bar, solarium, etc) this wasn't an issue for us. It was all perfect!. The only negative was that the bar was not open past 8pm at night. Maybe they could introduce an honesty bar?. The bar closing early evening would maybe cause concern to some, although it did not affect us as we were with family at the wedding. Nothing - it was all brilliant. Beautiful and comfortable though our room was we would dearly have loved a room with a sea view. This is not a complaint as our booking was last minute and we were lucky to find this place at all. Nothing. Nothing really. Unfortunately we had to leave early so were not able to enjoy or rate the breakfast.. Sad wardrobe in room (not that it really mattered, and reading lamps that are not bright enough to actually read by. The bathroom was practical but let the high end spec of the room down.Though clean it's outdated. It seems like the room was redecorated and no money or time was spent on the old bathroom. nothing. Nothing, other than having to leave... Bar closing at 8pm. It would have been nice to meet and chat to other guests over a wee drink. This is only a minor observation. The coffee!. If they still did evening meals and the beautiful bar was staffed, it would be amazing. But no complaints, a little gem. No negatives. Ensuites are old style and small but very clean. All okay. The bathroom was not as nice as the room. Everything was fine. No negatives.
