Owners are really engaging and very friendly. Cooked breakfasts are amazing and a real treat, it is essentially made to order while you enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. Room we stayed is extremely clean and well decorated, bed is very comfortable with a firm mattress, shower is large with excellent pressure and there is even a tea station for self-help. Location is great as well, just a short drive from Thetford forest where there are walking paths in the nearby arboretum. Also not far from Oxburgh.

as soon as I got there I was made to feel very welcome as Jean and Paul were excellant hosts and communicators. Facilities were very good and breakfast even better with a personal service. The location is an ideal location to relax, mix with local people not too far away and very clean establishment. Very good location for walkers and a rlaxing break for the peace and quite lifestyle. It was very good value for money and would highly recommend to other people, both strangers and friends alik.
Very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a single occupancy, double bed, had a beautiful bathroom next door, and a lovely touch was a flask of fresh milk for tea making in the room. Dawn and Paul made a cup of tea for me once I had settled in. The bed was very comfortable and I had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was ready for my early start in the morning. I had a bath and a shower to make use of, and the soap was delightful. I really cannot recommend them enough.
We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we rang the doorbell. The owners are extremely friendly, the room was beautifully furnished and spacious with a shower room to equal most good hotels. The breakfast, chosen from a menu the previous evening, was perfect and plentiful. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and would thoroughly recommend it. This is the perfect bed and breakfast.
It was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome as though we were part of the family.Dawn and Paul were great and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean and the bathroom gleaming.We could see deer and other wildlife from our bedroom window it was great.We would highly recommend Acer Lodge.
Very warm and welcoming B&B. Room was a very good size with a similarly generous sized en-suite. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereals also provided. Certainly hope to stay again and would recommend this B&B unconditionally.
Room very tastefully decorated and furnished. Room big enough for two comfortable chairs. Large comfortable bed Hosts very welcoming and made you feel at home throughout stay. Hosts willing to accommodate individual needs Lovely breakfast with plenty of chose.
Easily found by SatNav! great welcome, lovely room, tasty breakfast. lovely view from the bedroom window, saw a veriety of wildlife including deer, hares and small finches. spotless bathroom. All in all a really nice stay.
Dawn and Paul, were the perfect hosts, everything was beautiful, including the outside surroundings, views out to fields, an abundance of birds, even binoculars to use whilst in the dining area, simply wonderful.
A superb experience...wonderful hosts....spotlessly clean...welcoming...comfortable...good parking...good firm beds...excellent big breakfast...really good. What more can we say!!!.
