  We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, fairly late on a Saturday evening, when the hotel (and town) was very busy. Throughout our brief stay the staff were excellent and the breakfast (the only meal we took) was very good.   Denise & Paul were wonderful hosts! The room was at the back and very quiet. Nice view of the back garden area. En-suite was spacious & the towel warming rack was a nice surprise. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay with them on our next visit. - We stayed here as an overnight stop-off between the Isle of Skye and London. The room was nicely furnished, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful and the breakfast delicious. The owners are very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. We were given useful information about local walks, restaurants and pubs, and about Moffat itself. We thoroughly recommend it.

  This was better than the four hotels i stayed in early on in the week and i stayed in four star hotels and not one matched this place. Staff are very very welcoming. Very good for value. Landlord very helpfull on where to go on trips etc. You see what you get. The family room is spacious with a big bathroom.
