Rurally situated, the Clint Lodge boasts fee Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking. This 19th century sporting lodge is just 7 miles from the small town of Melrose and is pet-friendly. The majority of rooms are front-facing, with panoramic views over the River Tweed, to the distant Cheviot Hills. In the mornings, guests can choose from the extensive breakfast menu. Although I booked for a small double room I was given a three-bedroom cottage all to myself! The owner was welcoming and helpful. The evening meal was excellent quality. Breathtaking views, peaceful, spacious, elegant and tasteful. One of the best we've ever stayed at. The very friendly and helpful hosts. Very much a family home and I was made to feel welcome. Very friendly family who run it and the evening meal was excellent.
