I absolutely LOVED the staff they were so lovely and very very helpful. The location was also very convenient as there are many stylish shops around and Piccadilly is only a 5 minutes walk away so it was also very convenient for visiting the museums. Breakfast was very nice and the lounge was a place were you could comfortably spend some time between activities.The hotel also offers a couple of nice activieties like a pub crawl and a guided tour. All in all I would absolutely recommend The Hatt.
所有评语 » Almost everything! This hostel helped make Manchester one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect for shopping, and the center of the city is not far at all. It was so easy to meet people here. The pub crawls are a lot of fun and I recommend them to anyone who wants to quickly make friends. The staff were all nice, as well, and gave us plenty of help finding things. Location in the city centre, not far from the railway station and tourist information. A beautiful old-fashioned building. You can get a lot of info about Manchester music scene from the pictures on the walls. :) Free coffee & toasts in the kitchen the whole day. The luggage room is properly locked and CCTVed. Fast wi-fi. This hostel is right around the corner from Manchester Piccadilly station thus it is centrally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall the place was very clean. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to Manchester on a budget. The staff were helpful, the rooms clean and spacious. The location was good. I loved that each level had a band photo, mine was New order. The décor was cool, I really enjoyed my stay there. Thank You!. I liked location of this hostel. It's close to Picadilly Gardens, 2min's walk to Tesco supermarket, 5-7 min's walk to Picadilly station. It's well equipped. Only 5 mins walk. this is my second time there, it's a veru confy place, veru friendly people. location is very good, and the price is very fair in terms of this location. Best location to city centre, staffs are very considerate and hospital. It had everything you needed and was friendly and welcoming. Staffs is good enough, always smile and willing to help. The hostel is rather clean and it is moderately good value for money. It's really good value, staff is friendly and location is better than is to be expected from a place priced this reasonably. I liked the free tea and bread The location was really good, it was close to the center, shops, and so on. Light nibbles all night (bread and butter, no other condiments, though), central location. Great location, the breakfast was really good. Rather Central, easy and simple. The toilets looked a bit like pub toilets, but weere fairly clean. The water in the showers was too hot and it was impractical to have to press the button every 30 seconds to have more water. Also, it would be nice if every bed had a reading light, so that everyone could sleep or read comfortably. Additionally it would be nice to have a little table or chest of drawers for every bunkbed so that we wouldn't have to put our things on the floor. The breakfast was lacking, but, other than that, it was great. No lift, and it's a pretty high building. You can get help with your luggage though. WC & shower was on another floor. Can't think of anything I didn't like. Nothing, it was all good!. A little noisy because of so many guests. Although I understand their importance, I just don't like temporized shower taps. Other than that I had a great stay at the hostel. Not enough privacy for shower No locker for each one to keep the luggage safely. It's freeeeezing in the night. Even though there is a heater, I couldn't wake up in the morning because of coldness. Prices increasing for the weekend, which meant I had to move to a cheaper hostel, when I would have preferred to stay. The hot water in the 2nd floor shower room didn't work. But I can use other shower room, and the water was perfect. Lack of privacy in the showers, the doors are made of glass so everybody can watch you taking a shower. I hated the fact that there is no lift. The current old lift is only used as a service lift (like getting your luggage up and down), so to go to your 5th floor room you have to go up the stairs which are so steep to climb. Wifi is only free in the reception so imagine climbing down 5 storeys to send a simple email. wifi in bedroom is not free. No wifi, facilities are always broken. The water in shower room is too hot. I was unable to take shower. The quilt inner was smelly and dirty.Washing it in bleach solves that problem.Bes was uncomfortable but hey it's a hostel not a five star hotel.no lift. Rooms are ten beds in each - the other guests came back late or early making alot of noise - check out at 11am - I really needed another hour in bed!. Elevator didn't work we had to carry our bags on 5th floor by ourselves. Altough to be fair I admit that recieptionist asked if we wanted her to carry it (but we didn't want, that's not the point..). Breakfast was said to be until 11 am. When we walked into the kitchen it turned out that breakfast was gone, except for tea and coffee. And it was just after 10. The inevitable noise of nightclub goers returning from their social @ 2am, 5am and 530am. Too noisy when others using shower room. Few plug adapters. we can't use wifi in our room. Only hot water in the shower. the toilets were very dirty. nothing!. Showers on a different floor. Toilets and showers being such a way away Need a lift. i would love to day there again i wont because the buildin is so high and staff told me i couldent use the lift,in fact no one could use it! and if your three or four floors up ,thats bad news,TELL PEOPLE THEY CAN'T USE THE LIFT. It was very cold in the room (but I was given a heater without any questions) Generally it is not quite comfortable and instead of staying there for two nights next day I found a hotel nearby and moved out. It was pretty far walking up to the 5th floor... Humidity in showers not enough place in the dining room Quite expensive. Room smelled and there was a lot of street noise. A LOT of noise. Like, really, if you pretend to sleep, forget it. The wifi does not work at the rooms, only at the kitchen and reception, which is kinda annoying. The breakfast was poor, and I wasn't expecting much. Wifi was difficult to access. A bit pricey for a Hostel.
