Nice big room with kettle which was ideal for us as we were staying with a young baby. Very friendly staff and good value for money. Good choice of food at breakfast. The location was good. The staff were knowledgable about the local bus services. We found them friendly and helpful. Excellent location on beach front and only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants.

The staff were excellent and the location brilliant when we returned to the hotel we were not looking forward to our allocated room we asked the staff on reception about this and without hesitation let us look at two more rooms one of these we changed to good breakfast. location, staff, food (B & B). position of hotel was good. Room was nice and large. Wifi. Breakfast was good. seaviews. Jacuzzi. Lovely and clean great staff. Lack of a lift in our part of the hotel. Lovely hotel but it does seem to be for the over 70's!. Mattress was flat, bathroom was small. Couldn't get on WIFI, paintwork looks a bit tired. nothing. Dated décor Old style TV. The linen piled up in a small passageway, making it difficult to get passed, especially for someone with walking difficulties. décor is a bit dated. The room TV was old fashioned and small screened, the lounge area was cold, there being only two small convector heaters. Hotel a bit tired and spa facilities not as expected.Room stillnot ready when we were given key at 1.45pm. Old fashion decor with sheets and blankets. Poor TV reception. The lack of a lift meant carrying three items of luggage up three flights of narrow stairs. The first room we were given although this was not the fault of the hotel I was under the impression we were to be allocated a larger room see what you did you like. poor beds (old bed blanket no duvets), poor TV, poor lift, shabby decor in room, needing facelift. not happy with the room as there were 2 flights of stairs. did ask for room near lift . if not possible should have contacted me. also not advised where facilities were such as dining room. at breakfast we not told of helping ourseves for cereal etc and I noticed guests who came in after us were served first. The only thing we found was the room was far far to hot and bed was uncomfortable. Three flights of stairs. Bathroom only big enough for the borrowers. I feel this hotel needs money spending on it, it needs to be brought up today's, our room was dark and dingy , looked like it was once a smoking room but not been painted since the ban. small rooms. Extremely small double bed, most uncomfortable and we are not large people. Was put on top floor 3 flights of stairs no lift.
