We couldn't have had a nicer stay!! We chose the Angerstein Hotel due to it's location from the o2 (a £5 taxi ride away, between three of us) and the price of the room (I think £110). As soon as I had booked, stating that I was pregnant Sherrie at the hotel called me to ask if I wanted extra pillows and also to move us to a family room that was closer to the floor's toilets (adjacent). She then called again on the day of our stay to say that my extra pillows were ready, as was the room and to b.
所有评语 » The hotel is ideally located for anyone visiting London with a train station to Tower Bridge metres away. It's particularly an ideal location for anyone visiting the O2 arena which is within walking distance (approx 1/2 Hr at a stroll) or a taxi will cost you £6 to £10 max (03/06/2013). The staff are very friendly and accomodating and can't do enough to make your stay an enjoyable one. The rooms are immaculately clean and there are facilites such as a communal fridges\ironing board & iron a. Everything :)) My husband and I had a week planned visiting sites in London. I'd booked 3 different Hotels in suitable areas for the venues we were due to visit but after such a warm welcome and realising just how conveniently situated the Hotel was for commuting I cancelled the others and we stayed at the Angerstein. So close to o2, Greenwich, tube station and regular buses right outside. The staff were fantastic, the room was a good size (cleaned every day with a supply of clean towels) and n. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us find places to eat (one of us has a gluten allergy), places to visit and helped us book a taxi back to the airport. They made us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable, even though the wifi didn't reach to our floor (maybe try to install an extra 'wifi-box (that's the scientific term) on the second floor?). The hotel might not be right in the center of London, but it is very easy to get there using public transport. Wi. Very friendly, very clean, good price and great value for money. At a 'room only' I was pleasantly surprised there was a fridge freely available for use on the landing with very easy access. The kitchen facilities are available for use of visitors; the use of the microwave was most welcome and the bar staff were particularly helpful and friendly. The shower was always available; I was worried there might be a 'queue' but this did not occur! Shower was also very fast, hot and quite brilliant!. The hotel was clean and the room well serviced. It was remarkably quiet given it's location and being a pub and my stay included both week nights and a weekend. On my floor the toilet and shower were shared but the room had a basin to wash in. It is convenient. Westcombe Park Station is 4 mins walk away & 15 - 20 mins from Cannon St and the Circle Line. I enjoyed my stay. It was good value and I shall be returning. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed were comfortable and everything was clean. It had tea making facilities in the room and was perfectly adequate for a budget stay. The hotel is about a 20 minutes walk or £2.30 bus ride away from North Greenwich tube station and the O2 arena, which was ideal for our stay. We would certainly use this hotel again. Huge Sainsbury's 5 mins walk from hotel where you can get anything you need. Given a key so you can get in any time you come back, even late at night. booked here as was cheapest near to 02 arena for a concert so wasnt expecting much . boy was i wrong it a a lovely clean well run business and will be returning next concert .. ring hotel before youy travel esp if travelling by public transport . they will tell you the fastest way to get there. Even though we only booked/payed a room with a shared bathroom we got a really nice room with an en suite bathroom. The hotel was extremely close to the trainstation, the house was beautiful and very clean. Biscuits, teas and coffee were offered in the room so we even had a little breakfast. The staff were really friendly & a great location! We were seeing beyonce at the o2, which was a £5 taxi ride away! The rooms were very clean and although it was above a pub, you couldn't here any noise from downstairs! Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!. Stayed here for it's proximity to the O2 and would stay here again. Staff were very friendly and our room was spotless. The bus stop across the road made access to the O2 very easy and with a retail park around 15 to 20 mins walk away made our stay very enjoyable. A Traditional London Public house with a Ist Class Hotel facilities. We actually were very supprised, makes a welcome change from your usual family establishments. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would'nt hesitate to stay with you again. The room itself was clean, tidy and better than expected!!The bar downstairs was convenient and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly!! It was close to the 02 arena and the underground.Easy and accessible. Will definitely be staying here again!!. Some external noise from local big roads but I slept well. Location is ideal for the O2 Arena. Room on top floor very quiet. Shared bathroom clean and almost always available. Supermarket nearby was handy as the inn does not serve food (apparently there are a lot of restaurants/take aways nearby). Great hotel. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here. The hotel had the character and charm you can expect from a pub inn but the cleanliness and style afforded to a luxury hotel. The Angerstein was in an excellent location for the o2 arena, the owners were very friendly and recommended a fab cafe called gmt cafe for a brilliant breakfast. It was clean and comfortable. This is something that didn't bother me personally, because I'm used to it, but it is something that one might take into consideration when booking here: The hotel is next to quite a busy road, and even though it is not very loud when you close the windows, you can still hear it. So if you're used to complete silence when you fall asleep, you might want to bring earplugs. Smell of drains at night, when windows open due to extreme heat. Some wet towels often on floor in shower - shower cleaned/checked more often perhaps. Slight concern at the lack of hand washing facilities in the toilet and why do so many hotels still insist on providing cups and saucers in rooms and not mugs?. We needed a triple room and this meant that the only room available to us was one with a shared toilet. only that they didnt do breakfast or serve food but not a big deal tbh . A bit noisy because of the heavy traffic. There was nothing I didn't like. Poor second floor toilet flush performance was unfortunate in shared facilities!. No lift. Too many stairs for a decrepit person like myself. But lower floors extremely noisy as the inn is located at the intersection of very busy roads with much traffic noise. The hotel could do with a proper reception area. I found nothing lacking. The fact that I didn't have a toilet in the room, but it did state that on the details. Shared bathroom with dodgy shower on top floor but fine as was only 1 night stay. Nothing was bad. Location was not as central as we would have liked. Traffic noise, near a very busy fly-over. No air-conditioning so windows need to be left open making it more noisy. Just the 2 flights of stairs, so if you can't climb stairs ask for the 1st floor. Hotel over a family pubic house which i knew before booking, on main road junction which has some noise intrusion. nothing. Late night access to food, maybe a vending machine. No parking. We did not have a toilet in the room so had to go across the hall, located by motorway so was a little noisy when trying to sleep. Also not in the best of locations for restaurants and shopping. nothing. I didn't like the lock on the bathroom door(it was very hard to lock). Unable to use shower as water only warm and bathroom was like a fridge. Although they did say they were having a new boiler installed the day we left, so hopefully next time we visit everything will be ok. Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs after a very long day :D. There is a pub right there at the hotel, so karaoke night was kind of loud, even though it didn't last that long. Sink in bathroom was blocked and took a long to drain. The only thing I didn't like were the very light coloured curtains. I always find these pointless and have no effect when street lights are outside the windows. no breakfast, which I was aware of, but it would have just made the stay perfect. the stairs but we already knew there was not lift. There was nothing I disliked about the hotel.
