The staff were really helpful and polite, cheerful and gave attention to the children making them feel welcome and special. It was clean and airy, room was a good size, air conditioning and heating excellent. For breakfast, there was plenty of choice, some very good quality food. There are many shopping centers assortment of fast food like there was no way . Angela on the front desk was lovely and I was very impressed with her attitude and generally very welcoming, genuine, professional and warmth Loved the breakfast and the young lady who ordered veggie sausages for my husband. Yeo yoghurts, brilliant! The price was ideal we will make this our place to stay when we come to London for the foreseeable future. I have all ready recommended this hotel to 4 other families... Many thanks from the Chambers family - Isle of Wight. The hotel is five minute walk from an underground station and in less than 20 minute you can reach Victoria Station. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided an additional mattress for the fourth spare bed. Rooms are very clean. The double bed was not bad even though we would have preferred a harder mattress. Restaurant serves rich breakfast and quality food for dinner. Firstly , the staff ! Were friendly courteous and willing to help with advice and information about London and my stay there. The room was excellent. The extra pillows were a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent! The quality of the breakfast meal was very good! No cheap horrible bacon or sausages used. Good choice of condiments , tea, coffee , cereals excellent. I thought the service was excellent!! I'Ve stayed in 4 & 5* hotels all over the world but I can honestly say I've never experienced better customer service. The price was good. Position is ok (ten minutes walking from Colliers Wood tube station) considering that hotels in zone1 are much more expansive. About 30 minutes to reach Westminster or Bank tube station. breakfast in hotel is very good. Rooms are clean and big. Convenient location for me. Good parking immediately outside the hotel. The fourth spare bed was very unconfortable even for a child and this is unacceptable for a hotel chain that claims sleep comfort as main goal. No morning papers available but was mollified when one of the dining room staff offered to get one for me on her way into work the following morning! No othr complaints though!. Nothing. Payment in advance. I can't think of anything on this trip. The room was a bit hot so we had the air con unit on. This dries the kids skin out (and ours) and was a bit noisy. Further from Wimbledon than expected. But bus stop just outside the hotel, and tube close by. Car parking was very complicated. Reception seemed to be helpful but after payment there was no direction to find our way to the room??. Only criticism was the wall mirror was poorly positioned to view yourself full length as the couch was in the way. Too long to wait for food in the restaurant. Inedible steak. We liked it all. Slow elevators. The bed on this occasion (Room 633) was not as good as on previous visits. Not enough towels. No shampoo or conditioner. The weather wasn't great!!. Slow lift service. The food is really really bad!!!!! You really need to do something about it and the bar was only open till 11pm. Because of the location after 11pm you can't find anything open! At least the hotel bar should be open till late!. The mattress on our bed needed to be replaced. The springs made a noise when you turn over. A long way out from central London. Surrounding streets had a lot of litter. Couldn't find a clear instruction of how to get to the hotel. Took the wrong line and have to walk for 10 mins in the cold rain at 11:45 to get the bus but then have to walk for another 5 mins. Matress was not that comfortable, ok for one night. Parking the car was a bit of a hassle. Wifi sketchy, not able to use more than 1 device on the wifi. Nothing bad. The person in the room above who paced up and down on a creaking floor for 45 minutes at 4.30 in the morning - impossible to sleep through. distance from entrance to room. the breakfast. I am not a big eater in the morning so the full breakfast was not an option. as there were no small hot options available and continental is not my style I had to go without. loud music at breakfast. Still price has been a bit too high for what it offers. wifi is only free for 30 minutes. The fourth bed was not very comfortable and the key cards kept not working and had to be replaced. Breakfast very good could have been a little more reasonable in price. Stifling heat in the corridors. No free wifi Poor air-conditioning. Noise. No freezer or microwave. Room fixtures were a little old and tatty. noise of traffic no air con. Wifi no free.
