  The staff are very friendly and helpful, happily supplementing room supplies with fresh milk for tea etc when requested. Spectacular views from the rooms and the restaurant, and my 12 year old son loved the cooked breakfast. The hotel is also very quiet. - A non chain family run hotel with friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent in terms of quality and quantity and the cellar was comprehensive. The rooms were spacious, clean and the bedding fresh (sounds and obvious comment to make but I have come across some horrors in London). Location was beautiful and the parking ample. The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

  The setting is stunning, and although the hotel is on a main road, it is quite quiet, and what road noise there is, does not seem to penetrate into the hotel. The food is superb, and not badly priced, and the staff are friendly and helpful. - The bed was one of the best hotel beds we have ever slept in. Lovely room with splendid views.
