We were given a key code to get in as we were arriving when Heidi was out, it was a simple and no fuss system, we were able to put our bags in and go and explore York.   The hotel room was excellent; neat pristine and staffed by wonderful staff. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone there the atmosphere was fantastically relaxing it had a very homely feel to it and was within 10 minutes stroll of the Lowthers pub, 5 minutes from the river and 2 Minutes from 'the wall' conspicuous in York. They also assisted us with drying some of his clothes which was fabulous. The breakfasts were amazing. Also, the rooms were reasonably sound proof which helped our baby get a good night's sleep and also meant other guests didn't hear him!
