The hotel was clean and comfortable. The adjoining rooms were perfect for our family group(3 adults and 8 children!). The staff could not have been better - they were so helpful it made our weekend. I wish I had their names but special thanks to the young lady who allocated our rooms and to the night receptionist/porter

  I like this hotel, it has character, nooks and crannies and its a nice place to be. The food was great and there was loads of it. I was surprised the restaurant wasn't busier than it actually was. How often do you see quality food and quality portions.   I loved the great service I received and the standard of service never fell during my stay at the hotel whatsoever.
