  Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double.   I really enjoyed my stay. The room was immaculate and very well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Ace in situated in a great neighborhood and conveniently located near the tube and bus. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.   My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.
