We had a nice room on the 2nd floor, nicely decorated & a great shower. The bed was reasonably comfortable. This hotel does not provide breakfast, as advertised, no problem, there is an excellent Cafe on the opposite corner (Walkers Cafe in Stow St), that provides an excellent full English for ₤3.90. Hotel is close to the beach and attractions! We managed to get free parking outside. The cost for this hotel is very reasonable.

Absolutely phenomenal service! The owners are amazing! I was travelling alone and it was certainly a pleasant surprise to have so many wonderful conversations and bond with the lovely Val. The food was amazing and the room was clean and perfect. She even upgraded me as a courtesy. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Maydor to solo travellers or families as it is very close to attractions, but also in a quiet location. Absolutely wonderful!

The staff were amazing! We paid for a standard room but were given a four poster room the mattresse was memory foam so it was super comfy.. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh and we were in a great location right by the sea and amusements!
