We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house

I stayed for 1 night whilst attending a wedding in Bath and had a very pleasant stay. Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual
to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome
(and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive
and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed)
The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and
was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into
the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have
dinner.

We loved our stay in this B&B. The hosts (Mary and her husband) were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was better than in a 5-star hotel! ... 别人怎么说 » y, freshly squeezed orange juice would be nice. - It was a great place to stay and the little finishing touches were wonderful.Each room had a small box full of items you may have forgotten such as a toothbrush,razor,scissors etc which i thought was a very thoughtful touch.The decor was very in keeping with the period of the Bath architecture and the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very nice and the breakfast was lovely.

Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. -

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill.
Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

A wonderful home away from home. A very neat place, Jamie and Catherine
are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into
town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath
from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will
definitely stay here again and again. Oh I forgot to mention the Spa
session in a 5 star hotel I got as a gift for staying 2 nights. I also
got 25% discount on my spa treatment just because Catherine is a member.
