Just inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park boundary, surrounded by open countryside the Marton Arms Hotel has a bar, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi in the main building, and free parking. The hotel’s rustic bar has 2 burning stoves and the restaurant serves fresh, locally sourced produce. In the morning, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast. Each room has an en suite shower room with free toiletries. There is also tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV, and some bedrooms have a four-poster bed. The lively village of Ingleton is 15 minutes away on foot and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a 10-minute walk from the Marton Arms. Lancaster is a 30-minute drive away.

We arrived during a blizzard and were greeted by a Barman who was very friendly and took us to room,and made sure we had everything we needed.The room was lovely and warm and the view from our room stunning.We ate in the bar,the food was excellent and thae waiting staff very helpful.Sadly we only stayed one night,and left after a delicious breakfast. Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, the room was very comfortable, the staff were polite and friendly,the food was tasty and well presented, the bar restaraunt and gardens were very popular with guests & non guests.Also the information available for local sights and activities etc was as impressive as the setting/views.
所有评语 » I think got myself a good deal.Just wanted a one night stay after a long day touring on my motorbike.Nice quite location.Cosy country pub and restaurant.Arrived too late to sample the food.Clean en suite room with all the facilities and very tasty breakfast.At £35 hard to beat.Would definitely return. Everything about this accomodation was lovely. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and well equiped. Evening meal was delicious and so was breakfast. Would recommend this place to everyone and will definately be going back. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. The hotel has some olde worlde charm with wood beams on the ceiling, but is modern also. The location is superb, being less than a mile from Ingleton in a very quiet peaceful spot. Lovely location, staff were unfailingly polite, pleasant and helpful. Room was a nice size with pleasant outlook. Soft furnishings were pretty and shower hot and powerful. No noise from bar or other residents. Location was lovely. Free parking and plenty of it. Staff were friendly. Pub was nice. When they got my order wrong for breakfast it was changed straight away with no hassle. Very friendly , nothing was too much trouble , fantastic food , would defently recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay and eat here. Thank you for a super time. having been here before (about 7 years ago and enjoyed), we decided to return with a couple of friends and had a great time---except for the heavy rain of course. The location is good. breakfast. Only the lack mobile phone signal`. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing negative to say. The bed was very hard with totally flat pillows so didn't have a comfortable night. Stair carpet getting a bit threadbare and room decor in need of redecorating. Food was plentiful but unimaginative. Mattress was thin. Could have done with a better choice of cereals, fruit juices etc. Got my order wrong at breakfast. Our room was tidied and the bed made. nothing we did'nt like about it!. Nothing. We had no complaints at all. Room was a bit disappointing; neither of the lights in the bathroom worked and there was no information about the facilities (restaurant, wifi, location, etc). Breakfast room lacked atmosphere and not all items listed on the menu were available such as berries, natural yoghurt. No drying facilities offered for walkers or cyclists. Could'nt find any fault. Rooms and facilities were really clean but a little tired. menu specials could be changed more frequently for people staying more than a couple of days. wasnt enough real ale to choose, only 2 on where there normally is 5/6, the food wasnt the best ive had either. Rather basic pub grub, much of it overcooked. Better food in the village itself. WiFi signal weak except in breakfast room made it hard to upload photos. The modern hotel type decor of the breakfast area. Thought the prices were a bit expensive for the quality of the food and drink. Could do with more selection on menu. maybe warn that meals very large ,. Church bells at 8am. nothing to not like. I was charges £2.95 for a portion of bread with my meal - far too much. Shower needs to be more powerful...water went off half way through showering at 6am, not what you want!!!!. very poor selection of food for the breakfast, and poor presentation and inadequate table setting. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. The rooms were not serviced on a couple of days. In particular a lack of toilet tissue, unmade beds and tea making facilities not topped up The restaurant menu was somewhat limited in choice. The food was very disappointing. They had run out of quite a few things, they overcooked a chicken dish, scrambled eggs were like rubber and the Chef's 'whites' were definately not white!. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the menu shown on their website but the actual menu was a basic 'Pub Grub' and the specials board was not special, in fact the desert specials included apple crumble but when I ordered this I was told it was not available. Carpets need renewing - slightly smelly Church bells may disturb in front rooms - right next to church - chime hourly all night. Food was very bad. Breakfast was swimming in grease. Evening meal was Lamb, the lamb was under cooked, cold & very tough. had to send it back for a steak pudding & that was not very nice. other people complained. One person was on duty at breakfast so poor service. It is a pity as it could have been very nice. dusty room and poor quaity food. The room and hotel was quite basic if a little dated, not all areas were as clean as I would of liked.The bedroom was fine, a little dated but clean the bed was comfortable the shower good and the view quite nice. The evening meal looked okay but the fish was raw in part and had to be sent back we dined elsewhere. The breakfast was adequate. All in all for the price we found it disappointing. room was dirty, small, fusty smell. bathroom had not been cleaned. The fact that my necklace disappeared when I was staying there and I had to call the police - mysteriously it then reappeared, even though we had searched high and low for it at the time and so it ruined my stay completely. Also the room was noisy as you can hear everything from the bedroom above. We paid £90 per night which was not value for money. The 4 poster bed was cheap and ugly.
