we had a meal on the Friday we arrived Thai curry was excellent expertly prepared. The staff were helpful and friendly . We would recommend Chilli pad as a comfortable affordable base . Great staff, very friendly and helpful, Great Thai food, breakfast could be better. Very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful, nice room, lovely breakfast, and the meal in the resturant was excellent.

The hotel is OK for the price paid and in a good location. The Thai food in the restaurant was superb and reasonable priced. OK for a budget stay on business but not leisure. The Thai restaurant was good & the staff very friendly. The room was clean. And they were lenient about check out. Good bed Good shower. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. The price. 15Mins from my appointment!. A really nice location. Nothing really. The hotel is under receiveship and the stock in the bar is run down, there is no alternative for food other than the Thai restaurant, no snacks etc. The hotel had no wireless braodband even though it was on the website as 'free' I suppose the free statement is true as it did not exist. the rooms are tired and in need of TLC. The breakfast was a shambles, tables not laid, no option than other full English. No condiments, no napkins the satff had the could not be bothered attitude. I didn't like that the only access to the hotel was the front door so if the pub was closed you couldn't get in and had to ring and wait for someone to let you in. The breakfast was cold and not very nice. When I asked what was available I was told breakfast which didn't really narrow it down! There was no toilet roll when we arrived and the toilet had used tissue in the toilet. The staff weren't exactly friendly and need to improve customer service skills. No chair in the room no coffee in the room!!. Dirty Kettle, room left uncleaned for the lenght of my stay and coffee/tea/milk etc not replenished. Windows and inner frames extremely dirty. Room not hoovered, before or during my stay. Room not serviced properly. Food hygiene rating 1 so very reluctant to dine there. Tables were that sticky the cutlery and glasses were difficult to move. No shower Room needed hovering Breakfast Language barrier with breakfast chef/waiter Only 1 beer on, it is a pub! Staff. The staff were completely disrespectful of us as paying guests because when the bar closed and all the customers had left they decided to have a party with extreamly load music playing into the early hours. When asked to turn the music off the did for about half and hour and then they continued. There was no appology only and explanation of a staff member leaving. Room was very tired looking. Long way to carry cases up difficult staircase. Bed very uncomfortable and against the wall, so difficult to get out of. Breakfast was a farce, was given green tea when I asked for Breakfast tea, man could barely understand English. Such a shame...
