We liked the fact that our room was like a little house because it was away from the main house and had its own front and back door, the back door led onto your own little veranda with table and chairs, also once outside into the garden/ woodland you only had to walk to the bottom of the garden and you had your own private part of the river to eit

We received a lovely warm welcome by Alf and our room was absolutely gorgeous - very fresh and airy and spacious and with gorgeous views over the River Tay from our bedroom window. I loved how you could tick on a menu the night before what you would like for breakfast - my brie/tomato/bacon rosti was perfection especially as I could eat it whilst watching 2 red squirrels scampering around the garden overlooking the river.
