This inn is about as traditionally English as you can get; from the four poster bed to the snug bar, well stocked with a good selection of local ales. The inn was decorated beautifully for Christmas it and the staff are very friendly and helpful even though they were busy with customers when we arrived. The room was a good size and very clean, a good selection of hot drinks on the tray. Stay here if you are wanting to relax away from busy life. The setting is stunning, the only downfall being a very busy road outside, but you could not here it from inside the inn. There are beautiful walks, lovely cafes and tearooms, locals are very friendly
