The attentiveness of the owners was lovely, nothing was too much trouble also very helpful with suggestions of how to spend our time there and even lent us map books. What was an excellent surprise too was the food, best scallops I have tasted in years, just cooked to perfection. Also highly recommend the chicken stuffed with haggis, just delicious. Location was also so peaceful with lovely views of the Loch and so much better than staying in Fort Augustus, which is definitely worth a visit.
所有评语 » I liked the location very much. It's situated at the end of a small road with a magnificent view of the loch. Close by is the Foyers Falls which have a nice trail close to the hotel. To stay at Foyers bay country house is like staying at someone's home. If you prefer anonymity and to sit by your self. Don't go here. If you like to chat with the owner and play with his dog, this is the place. We loved the location to the nature paths, the falls and the beautiful maintained gardens We appreciated a wonderful section to choose from for a formal dinner in the beautiful conservatory. Breakfast was well prepared and also severed in the conservatory. We highly recommend Foyers Bay Guest House for a group gathering our a romantic get a way. Loved the location!!!! So glad we did not book a hotel in a town/city. Was a lovely experience!!! We were there for the weekend and was lucky that the place just got their fish delivered. Everything was so fresh!! Our dinner was exceptional. Especially the fish (salmon) and scallops. The homemade creme brulee was good too!! Five stars!!. I liked the location at the waters edge of Loch Ness. I liked that there were nice walks in the area. The owners were incredibly friendly, kind people and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Really liked Lennie the dog and the red squirrels! Would highly recommend the house to anyone. Lovely country hotel overlooking Loch Ness from the quiet southern side. Very close to the impressive Falls of Foyer. Lovely loch views from some of the bedrooms, the dining room and the lounge. Very pleasant cosy lounge, complete with whisky bar, roaring fire and dog!. The couple that ran the B&B where excellent very friendly & informative. House is gorgeous with great views of Loch Ness. Rooms where very clean, excellent shower. Breakfast was fresh and very good.. Really enjoyed our stay wish it could have been longer.. Very friendly country house with a great atmosphere. Beautiful location with views of Loch Ness. Also liked the view and the fact the there was a hiking trail 20 meters away that allowed you to experience an amazing waterfall!. The couple that run this place are what make it so great. Their customer service is second to none, they bent over backwards to accommodate us. The location is also very good and the house is set on beautiful grounds. Louis and Sharon x. Beautiful quaint Victorian farmhouse converted into a B&B with views of Loch Ness. Fantastic dinner in the Conservatory with Loch views, comfy beds, and a balcony on our room. A very relaxing night!. Small country house which was in a beautiful setting. Very friendly staff who were very welcoming and attentive. Wonderful place for nature watching as wildlife come right up to lawn outside house. Lovely location, great welcome and good food in a quaint house. Great walks to the falls and to the loch. Knowledgable owners - gave great talk on the history of Whisky. We had a lovely night. David and Kate were friendly and likeable hosts. Their small restaurant was exceptional without being pretensious.Nice clean rooms in a quiet location made our stay most enjoyable. Everything was just perfect - we stayed for 4 nights and adored it. David and Kate are perfect and David is state of the art cook as well. We always stayed for dinner. This was our second stay at Foyers, the first with the "new" owners, and we found it as charming as ever. Wonderful hosts, great food, and relaxed atmosphere. Kate and David were friendly and accommodating. Great place over looking Loch Ness, the food was nice and they helped us with some local sites to see. The place is wonderful, with amazing views. Kate and David are great, always with a smile and great conversation after dinner, and Lennie is lovely. Comfortable,relaxed atmosphere, good food ,done to your liking, and plenty to fill you up , and a view of " Ness to dine with ,superb. Our hosts were wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. We had a comfortable room with a view of the lake. I love David and Kate. They are very kind and good service. Location, route from Kinloch Rannoch, Serenity. Lovely environment, good home-made cooking. Everthing. Nothing, apart from not seeing a red squirrel!. N/A. The entrance to the place was a little hard to find as it was kind of small. We got turned around abit. But the owners were extremely helpful in providing directions - which helped alot. Not much not to like. There is nothing nearby in terms of dining, so make sure you either book dinner in the hotel or make plans to travel to Inverness . The bed was a bit lumpy. Nothing!. Really difficult to get to, alot of narrow windy roads and steep hills, but once you got there it provided good views. We didn't slepp well as for some reason we both found the bed uncomfortable. Not sure if this was due to the mattress. Nothing. Can't wait to go back again. Nothing!!. The mattresses on the single beds aren't very comfortable. The place is a little difficult to find. One lane road leading to the village was not so comfortable to drive on for us. Nothing. Our whole three days there was terrific. Bed could have done with thicker duvet or extra blankets. If there was just one item to question that would the 'Pan frying being so close to the eating area. My eyes smarted up to around 11.00pm on the evening of our wonderful meal. Nothing.
