Location was excellent, a fairly quiet village within easy striking distance of larger places such as St Andrews, Perth, Sterling. Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfasts were of excellent quality, evening dinner menu had enough variety for us to eat there 4 or 5 times during our stay. Highly recommneded. the welcome was very friendly making you feel rigth at home the flat was spacious and clean having every thing you needed staff in the hotel were friendly ,breakfast was fantastic we will be going back had a fantastic weekend away thankyou to all the staff.
所有评语 » Friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel. Excellent breakfast and restaurant for lunch and evening meal. We were a family group of 9 attending a wedding nearby and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. relaxing break and very quiet - food exceptional and breakfast fruit salad was with a good selection of fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend for a relax and walk about break. Excellent location.room comfortable.made very welcome upon arrival.Restaurant excellent best steak ever.all in all very happy with everything.a big thank you. Very friendly staff, helpful at all times. Food good and freshly prepared for you. Comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation. Restaurant had limited choice but food was acceptable if uninspiring. Location excellent for local walking, particularly in the Lomond Hills. Good base for exploring the East Neuk and North Fife. Falkland is lovely historic village and the Palace and grounds are a must see. We were the only guests in the hotel and so we appreciated the one-to-one service of the hotel manager, who was very helpful and accommodating. staff were friendly,food was excellent hotel in a good location. The room was very nice clean and tidy. Nothing springs to mind, always a good sign!. nothing. Nothing at all!. Nothing. I had booked the room facing the square but was given a larger room at the back unfortunately the bed was very small for two and the extractor fan from kitchen filled the room with cooking smells. As it is a small hotel all the other rooms were occupied. I had booked a room months ago so expected the room I had booked. We found the hotel and service apart from this problem very good and would stay there again. The Shower. Room was cold at night, despite heating. Stairwell walls stained and paper peeling where there had been a leak. Locked out of hotel at 10pm on Friday evening. Apparently limited local custom, so bar was not manned. Disappointingly restaurant menu didn't seem to feature local produce. Heath Robinson clearly installed the bathroom in the 'deluxe' suit!. Hardly any negatives but I noticed that the stair carpet which led to our bedroom was looking a bit grubby. Time to replace it I think. very poor shower water stopped when next room had shower. No staff around had to call to get someone to help me out Staff were unfriendly and at night the hotel seemed decerted.
