Pleasant stay, everything went smoothly; friendly and professional staff - all for a bargain price. Free coffee, tea, biscuits and water is a lovely bonus. Room and bathroom was clean to highest standard. Fantastic central location. I was surprised by Derby, it is a nice, clean town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Looks like a great place for high street shopping. We will definetely come back when the weather will be better (it was snowing and very chilly during our stay).
所有评语 » I think what makes Jurys Inn different from all other hotel chain is that , they do really invest in good staffs, friendly professional team is what they have , rest assured that youl be looked after really well when you stay with them, just amazing how excellent these staffs are of jurys inn , well done. Im a frequent hotel user and tried most hotels so I definitely know the difference and what differs them from one another. our whole experience of Jury's Inn Derby was excellent: The staff were incredibly helpful (we needed a Walk-in centre, and the printed off directions and details); the level of cleanliness was very high, the decor was tasteful, the room very comfortable, breakfast offered lots of choice, and the check-in and out times and arrangements were very accommodating. We stay at this hotel alot, 2-3 times a month, the only thing I would say is that in the request box I always fill it out, wanting either a bigger bed or room, and we have never had any of our requests meet, as we are regular customers I would like to think that our needs would be meet at least one time during our stay. loved the location so close to the city centre, and lovely views from window we stayed on the seventh floor staff were very polite and friendly an excellent place to stay did`nt want to go home lovely bath with grip handlesmaking it easy to get in and out. Modern sleek hotel, excellent reception area and bar/restaurant. I booked a triple room for three adults and was pleased it was very spacious and had three full sized beds. Good value on site parking. Unbeatable value for a quality chain hotel. Excellent welcome and helpful staff. Bed was comfortable and although on a main road not disturbed by noise. Room clean and comfortable although basic. No biscuits or water provided although water available to buy at reception. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the room was very clean, me and my boyfriend loved how quiet and peaceful it was we had an amazing huge window to lie in bed and look out of, was a brilliant get away!. The hotel was a great location and excellent value for money, we were upgraded to a deluxe room which had patio windows overlooking the city, the breakfast was first class. Would definitely recommend. i felt this was a fantastic hotel, it was the first time iv stayed at jurys inn as i mainly use premier inn. I give it top marks for cleanliness and it was very comfortable. I had a lovely stay. Location was very good and rooms were of a good size and clean. We only stayed for one night and didn't dine in so I can't comment on the food but I'm sure it would be excellent. Staff were very helpful and met our every need. Air conditioning/Heating was great. Blackout curtains made the morning easier to wake up to and the room was comfy in general. Just everything, the location for us is great because my son lives in Derby and we can walk to him, the breakfast was really well done, and comfort was second to none. Location was excellent, close to shopping centre and nightlife. ~Breakfast was a vast good quality choice, everything you could want. Would definately book again. nice comfortable room with not many rooms on the corridor which helped to keep the noise down from other rooms and people passing the room door late at night. Great location in the Cathedral Quarter and staggering distance from the Flower Pot. The room was surprisingly quiet and I felt fully rested in he morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized comfortable rooms, good restaurant especially breakfast. Would use again for city break or business. All the staff were very accommodating and very friendly, haven't a bad word to say about this visit the room was great and the food too. Great value, great location and very comfortable. I arrived early in the morning and was allowed to check in and use the room from 8am. The whole experience was wonderful and a massive hats off to the reception girls and Rob on the bar what an asset they are to your hotel. The room was spacious and clean, great shower! Perfect for a night out in Derby as it was central to the bars, literally a short walk!. The room was fantastic. Clean, neat & a good layout. Definitly would visit again! Great location for us to attend the Bearded Theory festival at Kedleston Hall. Excellent value for money, very welcoming, lovely relaxing outside Terrace. Car park is only negative point, it is way to small for the hotels size. Luckily there is 24/7 garage stay car park close to hotel, less than 5 mins walk. None. limited parking spaces (but there are public car parks near by). As above . my only gripe was i would of liked the option of a mini fridge for my medication. but they do provide ice /water machines on most floors in the corridors so not too bad. Hotel is well located for the historic cathedral quarter, but, if driving, is tricky to access , if you miss the entrance it means a long re-route round the one way. There is work going on locally which makes the hotel slightly difficult to get to. Breakfast is £10 per head if not included in the price but although it is a buffet and there is plenty of choice the quality was not good, the hot food not very hot but dried out from under the heat lamps. The price of the food was far too much for a young couple, we ordered a chocolate voundant and got a warm tiny chocolate muffin!. Nothing. I can't see why you charge for the car park when it's for hotel guests only. Most other hotels with their own car park do not charge for this facility. Room next door to us was partying until the early hours of the morning (5am) and was extremely easy to hear through the walls. The room was slightly small. Had to ask for a heater because couldn't get the in-room heating to work. also as booked as a triple room, only 2 mugs, 2 spare pillows, and 1 packet of biscuits with the refreshments tray. The car park was full and having a child in a wheelchair the other car park was a fair distant away and I was on my own to carry luggage and see to me son, not ideal. Nothing really. Not a problem for me, or I suspect for those on weekend break or business, but if you had a lot of cases and if bad weather, not easy to park close to unload. Probably common for many inner city hotels. Nothing. Car park spaces bit on small side. Finding my way there with my stupid sat nav!. Not much really. The lifts seemed never to arrive and I suppose there could have been wider car parking spaces, but I'm struggling to find one major thing to criticise. No access from car park underneath to hotel. Had booked twin and double rooms but got 2 doubles and no availability to change. Dont think i could fault jurys inn. This was my second stay. Loved it!!. Don't like the security with the use of the bar. The room rates are better of you book on the day rather than advance. As the room rate was coming as £40 the day I had a booking made. Nothing comes to mind. Our shower was shocking - when we got there we were offered a quieter room which incorporated a disabled shower, which was fine, but it barely worked and was very disappointing. The three main things you want from a hotel room are a comfy bed, and a decent shower/bath. Restaurant food was not very good. Breakfasts were ok but pricey for what was on offer. Staff misinformed me about how the car parking charges were calculated so I had to pay £6 more because I went over the 12.00 cut-off which was very annoying especially as I had specifically asked about it. The member of staff agreed she had got it wrong but I still had to pay it. So parking for 2 nights was pricey at £15.00. Every time we have been there has been a problem with really loud children running around bar. We did not stay in for food because of this we went out. Draft coming from the windows The girl upstairs screeching on early hours. My wife and I thought the bed was little on the small side. no safty box in room , no mini bar , no room service after 10 pm . insure that you have your own food / drink in room just in case . Service in Bar .... Left waiting for bar service during lunchtime had to go to reception to get someone to serve. Unfortunate as completely satisfied up to this point. However it did not spoil our stay and we would certainly stay again. Hotel is on a very busy road so was very noisy in the daytime, wasn't so bad at night. Nothing, I always stay at this hotel in the same room. no comment.
