The staff were excellent and friendly. Jon was very knowledgeable on the area and recommended places to go and walks. The food was excellent and plentiful. The room was clean, modern and the bed very comfy. There was free bottled water and ironing board & iron. Tea, coffee & biscuits in room. VFM.
The pub was opposite a village green with a red phone box! Blast from the past. Will definitely return. 所有 评语 »
This was a fantastic hotel for our weekend away for our wedding anniversary the room was if the highest quality beautifully presented and immaculate ..the staff John and Ann and chef Layton were amazing always there to help and provide 5 star service I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone reading this x x.
The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. There was a relaxed and contented air about the place. The rooms were newly decorated and very comfy and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and there was also a restaurant serving good food and a lounge bar on the premises.
Nice new room (although small), comfy bed, tea and biscuits provided, nice shower, all very clean, flat screen TV and we both slept well.
Pretty and quiet country location.
The pub was exactly how you would picture one on the village green. Staff were excellent. A little steep on the stairs but overall - great!.
The hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel cat was very entertaining. Would definitely stay again.
My wife and I liked the location and the friendly feeling of a
public house seemingly unaffected by the 'rat-race' it had a
homely feeling.
Room very clean, modern and sleek. Breakfast was lovely. Lady was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere.
quiet, but friendly and very comfortable. Felt able to relax immediatly arrived through the door !!.
The friendly staff, especially Shelley, the quality of the dinner and the size of the bed.
Warm welcome, Good ale,did not arrive in time to eat unfortunately, maybe next time.
Friendly staff, excellent food, very well priced, clean and comfortable rooms.
Location is great, atmosphere was very good and staff very helpful.
Just a great place to stay, will try the food next time.
Excellent food, friendly staff, good value for money.
Good food lovely rooms excellent location.
Food excellent, friendly staff, open fire.
The quiet of a village after a busy day.
Friendly staff and good food.
Great service lovely food.
Friendly staff.
Food was to an excellent standard and rooms very clean.
Nothing negative, only that the shelf above the sink in the en-suite was in the way. Kept knocking our heads on the shelf when leaning over sink to wash face.
There is nothing negative to put at all.
A very minor issue - the bathroom in our twin room was a little bit of a squeeze, although the facilities in it were very modern and clean. I think it was the last room available at the time.
Breakfast quite disorganised; didn't seem to be expecting us and I had to wipe the table & scavenge my own cutlery/condiments from other tables. The food itself was nice enough though.
Nothing.
The room we had was rather small and I felt a little claustrophobic.
no negatives, didnt find the milk in fridge in the morning for my cuppa, despite looking everywhere, just me perhaps.Could have been shown where it was the previous evening on arrival, but spliting hairs to coin a phrase !.
The bed was vast unfortunately the room was small so it was difficult to move about in comfort. There was nowhere in the room to do any work and only 1 socket could I find. The bathroom was cramped with a shelf right above the sink which made rinsing your face virually impossible. I would stay here again but not in that room. The milk for tea etc is kept in a 'fridge down the corridor which means if you want an early morning cuppa you have to get dressed and go and get it.
Slightly cramped rooms, Pub is not close to amenities.
Nobody's fault but service for dinner went a little mad when our waitress had to leave and nobody around in the morning when we were leaving.
WiFi signal non existent in Dexter.
nothing to report really - perhaps a little remote for teenage kids but closest i could get to alton towers with late booking.
Floor in shower felt very slippery especially as I suffer from poor balance.
Ensuite bathroom too small.
Nothing really.
Nothing.
Quite difficult to get to in the heart of country lanes.
Rooms are very small and if you are on the big side you would struggle getting around the bed and using the ensuite bathroom - very very small!.
