  The location of this hotel is perfect, in the heart of Clovelly. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view of the sea from one side and the main street on the other side with a small balcony, it was also very quiet although it was busy. There was a nice selection of tea/coffee, biscuits etc in our r... 别人怎么说 » oom, as well as bottled water which was very welcome. The breakfast was lovely with generous portion sizes. We stayed at this hotel about 20 years ago - When an hotel gets it right it just does - and it's difficult to put into words but from the moment we received the welcoming check-in to the moment we left, the ambience made us feel comfortable and at ease. Great location of course. Breakfast was great - lovely friendly attentive service and obviously good quality local ingredients cooked beautifully. Overall, very good value for money.

The staff was friendly and fantastic and accommodated us with a meal upon our arrival even though it was after the scheduled time. Definitely worth a visit and my family and I would be happy to return any time.
