  We had a wonderful time in The Stables - a characterful stone cottage with original beams and other features and set in the most idyllic location. However there was also every mod con you would need and it was furnished and decorated to a very high degree. Although remote still only a ten minute drive to the nearest town. Very comfortable, quaint little cottage. We were totally undisturbed and encouraged to explore the surroundings. The animals, especially the pigs, were very amusing.

We wer - The owners are very hospitable and clearly take a lot of pride in the establishment which is kept very clean with lots of attention to detail. The room was a good size and the bathroom was updated and modern. The bar/lounge area and restaurant are very comfortable and nicely decorated.The food and service were excellent. We would definitely recommend the Carpenters Arms.
