Very friendly and attentive staff. Room was small but clean and tidy, the bathroom was also very small but it still met all my needs for the two nights I was there. Despite being a weekend it was quiet around the rooms and I wasn't disturbed. I was able to access wifi in my room which wasn't expected and may not be the case for all but was a bonus. Cooked breakfast was excellent, with tea and toast and great value for money.
所有评语 » Staff were excellent. Couldn't do enough for us.Provided us with full english even though we came down half an hour after published breakfast time !! Breakfast was good. Hotel very clean throughout and very comfy bed. Iron and board in room - nice touch, Not many hotels do that and we always need them !!. The manager and staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home.The room was very comfortable and well cleaned It was good value for money. The restaurant was an added bonus with the Pesto brand as a new concept in Italian tapas style dining. They would do well in the South East. It was the first time we had eaten Italian tapas style, and we thought the food was excellent. How welcoming the staff where, on reception, the bar & restaurant. In fact some of them were the same people, so they obviously work well as a team. Nikki and all her staff were superb. Food very good, such a warm welcome. They look after lots patients and relatives undergoing treatment at local hospitals and are a home from home - life savers in the hospitality field! Highly recommended. Stayed here to be close to Liverpool but save some money. Good price for the very clean, well put together rooms. Restaurant/pub on site looked very nice, though we'd already eaten. Friendly staff and good hot breakfast with a few options. Room 1 was very comfortable with a newly installed bathroom. Assuming the other rooms are equally as good I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The Italian Tapas restaurant is also excellent. All the staff, particularly Charlotte, our waitress; changing tables for our evening meal to a more comfortable and warmer one in the Pesto restaurant; close -ness to the train station. Friendly staff, great room, clean room and breakfast area, fantastic free breakfast, great location if you are going to a wedding at Thornton manor (approx. ten minutes drive away). The room was clean spacious and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the beer! We'll be back in September. Basic rooms that were clean and tidy but very friendly and helpful staff and the food was excelent. The waitress who served us was brilliant, I think her name was Becky. The staff were warm and friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything. Hotel has been re-vamped under the Pesto umbrella, so evening meals which are good, are like an Italian Tapas style. The room was warm and the bed comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a good choice of breakfasts. It was chosen because it was central to family we were visiting. No issues with the hotel at all. Those arriving during peak restaurant times, be aware that car parking is a little short at these times only and mobile phone signal is poor in the area (o2/tesco) but none of this is attributable to the hotel, and i would happily stay here again. En-suite a bit small but OK for a short stay. The bathroom was somewhat compact. Having only stayed the one night !. The cellar fan was a bit noisy under room 10 but nothing my ear plugs couldn't help me with!. Location was a bit far outside of the small town they were near, but free parking negated this. No real complaints. Nothing. The Thwaites Wainwright beer finished before our second drink leaving only Lancaster Bomber available! The power to the sockets going off about 11pm at night and not being restored until the following morning!. Nothing. May need to consider reception cover for those that need to leave before 07.00hrs?. the bathroom was a bit on the small side but we were only there for one night so was adequte. Room was very hot but could not open window due to noisey extractor fans outside. No fault of Inn, guy next door left his telly on all night. I couldn't stay longer!. Little slow checking in and out. Single room very small, but adequate. I found the hotel to be good. Uht milk. Organic tea. Room a little too hot. Road noise. Could not connect to wifi. No hair dryer in room as advertised. Doors banging repeatedly. room a bit dark couldn't see television very well room 6. All good. nothing. The noise in my room from the main light. Only tapas menu, which tho food good, if staying for few nights , would be good to have choice of full size menu. Parking can be limited at times. Nothing. The walk to the station and the shortness of the stay. Not enough attention to the housework in the room , all a bit dusty. The shower head leaks and needs replacement. The free Wifi is a bit intermittent. We up-graded to a superior room and can't understand what was extra about it - no robes, no tissues, no shower cap, no pen and paper, no telephone. A message left at reception never got to us and ruined our evening as we missed our friends totally.
