This stylish, award-winning North Shore hotel is on the North Promenade, with sea views. It offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and bright, well-decorated bedrooms. The Strand Hotel was Hotel of the Year 2009 at the Blackpool Tourism Awards. Blackpool Tower, the Golden Mile and the 3 piers can be reached by a seafront tram ride. Bus and tram stops are a short walk from The Strand, and Blackpool North Rail Station is half a mile away. Some of the bedrooms have wonderful views out to sea, and PlayStations and DVDs are available to rent. The Strand Hotel serves a good, varied breakfast, and evening meals are available in the smart dining area. The modern bar lounges has bar snacks, panoramic sea views and entertainment.
