Right on the estuary of the River Tweed, - This is a very nice hostel in a really cool old building with cool modern furnishings. The staff person on duty was very accommodating when we arrived late, and she was there again in the morning serving breakfast! We booked a family room for us and our two older sons, which worked out well. We even had our own private bath, which is definitely a plus when hosteling. There was even free car parking right outside the door, even though the listing said there wasn't any.

It is unstaffed which feels different at first but everything you need is already there and the owner is just minutes away and available on the phone. lots of extra touches eg. Basket of treats and beer and wine in the fridge and an honesty box for payment!
