The greendoor resturant was excellent. We had not planned to eat in the hotel, however due to heavy rain we choose not to venture out. We were astounded by the scope and quality of the menu and the quality of the house wines. Hotel was very warm and friendly, staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and bar menus and good parking facilities. I would definitely stay here again.
所有评语 » Sense of service and family run hotel, attention to detail. When there were a few minor problems they were attended to immediately with a smile and an apology which was appreciated. I liked everything about the hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very courteous and efficient and overall the service was excellent. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate in staying there again in the future. the hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and breakfast was very tasty. It was in an excellent location and the rooms, service, meals and staff were all brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a good position and the bar food and breakfast were excellent.The staff, particularly on reception went out of their way to ensure that my requirements were catered for. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. room was very clean, comfortable. facilities were excellent.The luxury and cleanliness of the suite, and the breakfast was very good with excellent choice. When there was a slight problem in that room they switched us to the honeymoon suite at no extra charge and with no fuss at all. This -no fault of the hotel- is imply not available. No. perhaps a little expensive when taking exchange rates into account. tv had terrible channels.not evn itv or chanel. resturant food was not good at all. The waitress who served brakfast was unwelcoming and miserable.No. Did not like location of room . very close to air conditioning plant at rear of hotel. Noise from ventilation system. Had asked for quiet room ok during night but building work and loudnoise started before 7. came home tired out and had to go to bed. Sortof spoilt reason for staying. the room was rather tired looking and in desperate need of new decor and modernisation. There was xmas party on sat night which put pressure on kitchen.as aresult starter arrived 40 mins after ordering.this was compensatedthough by the attitude of waitress who was excellent.another gripe wouldbe that we wanted breakfast in room but order card was not collectedeven though it was placed in good time, .overall though we wanted chillweekend and we got it.overall experience good. Got very warm. I just wanted cheese sandwiches at lunch but they had some kind of spread on as well - keep them simple please.We paid BandB which we ordered to our room, only one breakfast was delivered. I asked for the 2nd service charge to be removed as they had only delivered one - the receptionist removed it but did not apologise or acknowledge their delivery error. There was noise from either ventilation systems or water pipes which I found irritating.air conditioning plant outside bedroom window. My room was unacceptably noisey on both nights as it overlooked the function suite - a race night and then a wedding.room much too warm even with the heating off it was necessary to sleep with the window open. The sealing around the bath could have done with being replaced as it was grubby looking which evn though the bath itself was immaculate it just gave the impression that it wasn't. small room noise from airconditioning plant on roof adjacent. the staff was not very friendly expecially the reception.
