we liked the location which was close to the town centre and the beach .We also liked the friendly helpful staff and the general atmosphere of this small hotel.We loved the high tea,the cakes were delicious and the gentleman serving us was lovely. I Loved the attention given by all members of staff. The hotel itself is central to not only Ayr but a variety of locations in the surrounding area. Food was delicious.

Lovely family run hotel excellent furnishings very comfortable ,I allready miss the breakfast it was out of this world. Staff were very friendly,room and en-suite were spotless.Breakfast was lovely and would recommend this hotel.10/10. I liked the welcome and friendliness of staff. I also thought the room was comfortable and suitable for purpose. Very good hotel ,comfortable and very clean and staff very helpful. All in all I would recommend this hotel. Immaculate hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Very convenient for town and facilities. I was met with a smile staff were very polite during my stay food was good. Friendly staff at breakfast times. Easy access to town centre on foot. Good Parking, friendly staff, Comfortable room good food very relaxing. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet my needs. food excellant could not fault anything would stay there again. Location - centre of town. Parking No noise - other than fan!. The staff were friendly and it was close to the town centre. Breakfast was fantastic friendly staff quiet nights sleep. friendly staff near to town centre wekk cooked breakfast. Cannot fault the room was spacious and immaculate. Quiet peaceful breakfast room. 24hr entry. nothing. When you were in your room you could hear every single sound from the room next door.Maybe it is an idea to maybe have a bit of soundproofing done. Some walls were a b It thin, could hear everything from next door room. Everything was fine. Very quiet at this time of year. Never saw another guest. Room very cold. Shortage of hot water. Our room never got freshened up so we had to make the bed and use the damp towels again. not quite enough breakfast, would have enjoyed entertainment at night. When I arrived I asked about soya milk (request was put onto letsbookhotel.com) but the staff did not know about this. However, even late in the day one of the members of staff went out and got some for me. That was very nice. The room was a little small. nothing. Rooms did not have any air conditioning. Thought they might have offered some portable fans to keep rooms cool - one of the hottest weekends in years. We had a noisy fan outside our window. TV screens a bit small - internet connection signal too low for connectivity. Nothing. Bar was a bit quiet. the single room was small. Could have had the heating on higher and turned it on earlier!. No lift. Shower cubicle was small. Rooms weren't very warm had to put more clothes on to sit in room and also to sleep have ended up with a cold Room not very clean TV didn't work well. Only issue was the heating. It switched off during night and we were freezing had to put socks and cardigan on to try and keep warm. In need of a revamp the approach from the car park is awfull. Small room and no lift. 1 Very Dusty room with horrible rug that will be very difficult to clean. 2.Door locks that didn't work properly. 3.Very dated decor. the bed bugs in my room which i left for the cleaner in a tea cup. the toilet in the room was dirty , cutlery was ditry , coffee & teapot dirty , room was cold , was very small for a king double room also pillows were rock hard .. staff in dinning werent very pleasent ....
