the hotel was very new and modern, it was also very clean and the staff were very helpful. Modern, spacious and attractive interior. Staff very welcoming and helpful.Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff, cleanlinessand goodlocation. Friendliness of staff and accessability for airport. close to prestwick,verey clean hotel;. The hotel was very new and clean.
所有评语 » Staff extremely helpful. rooms were nice. Space in the bedroom good for wheelchair user. The bed was comfortable.The bathroom was well laid out. Alarms in both bedroom and bathroom. Reasonably priced and facilities were good. Breakfast is self service continental and things seemed to run out and were not replenished very quickly. Also some Ryvita and or oatcakes should be provided for people who can't eat wheat.Convienent location for main transport routes and parking facilities. Convenient. thought the breakfast would have been a full english however it was only a continental. A rather foreboding exterior. Signposts to entrance ie road not very clear particularly if arriving in dark.The drink prices far too high at £9.60 forr a double grouse I can get a bottle for that. Better Breakfast! For this great hotel that breakfast was very simple...The wheelchair accessible bedroom was the at the opposite end of thecorridor to the lift so we had quiet a long haul with baggage. As myhusband was in a wheelchair we were hopeing to dine in the hotel in theevenings but the choice of food available was of a very poor standard.Also tv on a table in the corner and not very visible from bed - itwould have been better wall mounted at end of bed. on chck in there was ony one staff member who was checking in,serving in the bar and delivering meals in the resturant,There were alot of people checking in at the same time,so we had to wait awhile. The option of being able to ugrade to a cooked breakfast would of been appreciated,but there wasnt one. Location is not great - next to busy car showrooms on the outer edge of town - you definitely need a car and evening meal choices were very limited and basic. Would not recommend Frankie and Bennie's across the way as very busy - 25 min wait for a table and it wasn't worth the wait. I felt the vehicle access/ exit to and from the car park could have been better designed. The barriers were so sited that people generally had to get out their vehicle for a ticket to access the car park and to insert the token on exit. More nuisance value than a problem but as the hotel seems to be geared for vehicular users perhaps some more thought on access/exit design is needed.The hotel is situated approx 4 miles from Ayr centre and there is nothing much to do in the area. Lack of staff, we were given wrong room type, breakfast was shambolic,very little cereal, no bread, no plates, no fruit, no croissants. We hadto ask for tables to be cleared so we could sit down.
