Excellent location. A short 5 minute walk and you are in the centre of Aviemore. There is also a very acceptable italian (offering a great buffet) that is part of the Motel complex. The view from the room looked over to the cairngorm mountains which was beautiful. You only had to pass by reception when checking in and out since access to the rooms was though a security entry door. We liked this since it gave us more privacy and avoided making small talk when we would rather get on with our.
所有评语 » The location of the property was excellent - just a minute walk to the centre of Aviemore. The rooms were modern, very warm and the shower fantastic. Joyce was lovely and so helpful. the facilities are great - no breakfast but not required - porridge available and enough places in Aviemore to have food and also the Tesco. The Pizzeria La taverna attached served lovely food. The resort is not overpriced at all. If investment could be added at a later date a sauna/hot tub leisure facility w. The cleanliness of the room on arrival was impeccable and housekeeping did a brilliant job at making up the room - it was like walking into a new room each day. The room (twin) was really spacious and well ventilated with everything we needed available. The shower was powerful and the water always hot. We were never disturbed by other guests, the whole resort seemed peaceful although fully booked. Especially liked the Eco lighting in the hall and the secure entrance to the motel itself. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our corner room looked out on woodland where various animals came to feed. The heating was easily controlled and more than adequate in the room and the toilet. The restaurant food and ambience was lovely and the location good for access to facilities and within easy reach of beautiful woodland walks. I have already recommended it to friends. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The rooms were well designed and immaculate. We had dinner in the restaurant in the complex and the food was lovely, the service great and the waiter very attentive. We were very impressed by the Motel, the restaurant, the site and surroundings. Will definitely be back. Very large, comfortable bed. Also, as the section I stayed in was a very recent addition, the room was very clean and up-to-date. Very large room, with a small seating area beside the windows. As I mostly travel alone and don't go out at night, I also appreciated the numerous tv channels available. We loved the comfort in the large bed rooms with easy heater etc. Short fairly level walk to town centre and also bus stop at motel for Cairngorms etc. Excellent Italian on site, 2mins walk to amazing homemade food cafe at Alpine shop plus superb character pub/restaurant 5mins walk away. Entering Aviemore from the South, the motel is the first building you come to. Don't drive past, stay there. Very clean,comfortable rooms, secure. Shower is excellent. The attached Italian restaurant offers good value food at very reasonable prices. Located just on the edge of Aviemore with a short walk to town. On site excellent Italian buffet restaurant. Motel rooms bright and modern. We left our daughters teddy bear in room and staff looked after it and posted it back to us. Very nice, clean, friendly staff, lovely artwork throughout rooms and communal area. Good location, great view from our room of the Cairngorm mountains. Restaurant on your door step, or 5 minute walk to main strip in Aviemore. Superb room; clean with all the right facilities. Friendly welcome (from the cat too!). Attached to a top quality family Italian restaurant. They even had fresh Scottish mussels, despite the blizzards affecting the area. Loved everything. This was our third stay and we just keep coming back. Lovely welcome at reception, beautiful room, made use of the DVD player and tea making facilities, nice bathroom and hot shower. Excellent. Was a great location to the mountain we stayed in the motel which was very comfortable the shower in our room was amazing which after a long day on the hills was perfect plus only a 2 min walk into town. Very comfortable, nicely decorated, comfortable King bed, liked the heated towel bar in the bathroom that also doubles as a drying rack for laundry, tons of space for 2 in our room. the views, the rooms, and the area, not far to go for entertainment, my sport was fishing, with my grandson, he also enjoyed the break, and wanted to go back again,hopefully next year. Close to town & local super market. Laid back, do your own think wether it be walking, good food, photo opportunities or just sit back & do nothing this is the place to do it. the room was excellent, very clean and very well laid out. the facilities in the room were more than adequate and I think we will probably book again if we come to Aviemore. We loved our room and the Motel was easy to find. We liked the location and enjoyed the walk into the town. Comfy beds and easy to control heaters when you need them. Every thing was excellent. I thought it was great value for money and i would definitely use this hotel again if I was returning to Avimore. The motel is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, a very pleasant and restful environment. I also enjoyed the restaurant. Good sized clean and efficient room with well thought out en suite. One of the useful features was the small table and chairs. we were hillwalking so location was ideal, motel is clean , tidy , receptionist was very helpful I would recommend this motel. And quite central for getting to the main attractions in aviemore. The bed was not very comfortable. My partner and I did not sleep too well on either night of our stay. The pillows were also too thick. Thus caused discomfort in our necks and as a result we did not use them. However, this will not deter us from using the Motel again in the future. A fridge would be nice since the Italian restuarant does not offer breakfast and walking in the rain to the nearest cafe is not ideal (nor are their excessive prices). Limited choice of TV stations and lighting near mirrors badly located - could not see to apply make-up. Nothing. Had to ask another guest in the carpark where the reception was ( separate building ) as it was not obvious. Person at reception upon checking out was not the most friendly I have met. Missed out on view because of trees and close to road but not noisy. Nothing. Bathroom was a tad cold as the heated towel rail appeared to only come on at certain times; and they're not the best as the main heat source in a bathroom too, especially with tiled floors. Minor point though. Although the bed in our superior double room was a fantastic size and had beautiful bedlinen, it was not the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. However, as this was our third stay in that room it is obviously not a big enough problem to stop us returning every chance we get!. There wasn't anything we disliked would have been nice to have a site map in the room E.g where the laundry room was, etc. We never stayed long enough. No public areas. Pity there is no Internet connection in the room, although if urgent wifi is available at the hotel's cafe' No breakfast facilities, but again Mountain Cafe' is not far.... Nothing. Wifi wasn't working except in and around the restaurant - I know the motel were aware of this and were fixing it asap. Nothing. nothing. No food options. Have to go to the restaurant round the corner or there is chip shops, an Indian, tesco etc further into the centre. Nothing. Bed was oddly undersized, a small double; even the bedside switches and inbuilt reading light suggest that a larger bed was originally intended. Dining is an issue, nowhere onsite for breakfast and only one restaurant for dinner is fine for the people staying in self catering accommodation on site, but if staying in the motel part you must walk towards the centre of town (10mins) for breakfast/other dinner choices which is not always comfortable in scottish weather!. No wifi facility No breakfast facility (muffins and cereals and porridge and a microwave in the foyer would do-like American motels) but we were aware of this before we arrived - and brought our own Bed too small - I fell out!!. Sofa bed was uncomfortable for the kids, that's all - could do with a thicker mattress topper, but loved our stay! We'll be back again (for the 3rd time). Nothing. no drinking glasses in room, just plastic cups. Thin walls, heavy snorer in next room, very little sleep!. No breakfast on site. No wifi except in and around restaurant!. nothing. The internet did not work at all. It was a bit further out from the town centre than we would have liked. Walls were a bit thin so could hear conversations/tv (word for word) in room next door. Would have been terrible if they were loud people or had come back later than us at night. as we had 2 young kids we had a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. When we arrived Ihad to set up the sofa bed. Not happy with that. That should have been sorted before our arrival.
